Whether you’re a monarchist or not, you surely must know the implications of lying to a Head of State with a constitution as flimsy/none existent as ours?
That's the official legal argument. My argument is 'he's clearly a fucking dick'. Both arrive at the same point, one gives less of a fuck about the queen than the other.

Doesn't resolve the issue of placating those who voted to leave and honouring the outcome of the referendum.

Try again.

I disagree with you as I believe that the situation is retrievable via a soft Brexit and that the divisions are capable of repairing themselves (to a meaningful extent) via that route; so I don’t agree that social cohesion is irreparably fucked either way, and on that basis I believe that trying to bring our society together takes primacy over the economic damage that Brexit will inevitably bring, assuming that damage can be contained via a soft Brexit.

I could very well be wrong, of course.
You are Rory Stewart, and I claim my 5 shillings.

That’s a decent point, but the usual rules don’t necessarily apply to Brexit.
It's the economy, stupid!

We reach a compromise.
Aw, Bless.

Well said. The blame game really isn’t going to help anyone, long term.
Yeah, but it was all their fault!

If I wanted to make a business decision the question(s) would be why and how will we(the board) benefit

Saying things like ‘short term harm’ and ‘we’ll be alright in 50 years’ wouldn’t cut it

We are a 4 man band, never mind and entire country! It’s fucking absurd!

Not totally abolish it but tighter controls and a sensible solution to curb the rising population in our country - I get immigration has benefited us in so many ways and for certain services it’s very much needed however the negative is too many people provide a huge burden on housing, jobs, waiting lists and even getting on a train! Many areas of the county can not cope with the huge influx of people.
Statistically net migration from rest of the world is higher each year than it is from the EU which we have full control of, yet the government haven't done anything about that.

Instead the real project fear of immigration has been levied over the British people with brexit and it's working to great effect

Try reading and applying some comprehension before spouting - it really is not that difficult to understand the words:

"The power of a No-deal option has been demonstrated in recent weeks on this thread - many times over."

But I have bolded some key words to help with your comprehension

As you are unable to comprehend English in one go, I'll try again:

When you first came to my attention, it was due to a post where you were making a speech about how you & your chums had every right to be much more upset about Brexit, than us who have had it inflicted on us.

And your theme seemed to be that was because 'no deal' had been destroyed (the EU would otherwise 'cave in' ) & Brexit would therefore not happen, thanks to.'remainers'.

Nowardays you are bullish about being right about Brexit happening & the success of the threat of 'no deal' which presumably is therefore, still in existence, rather than having been removed ?

So were you talking shit then, or are you talking shit now ?

Or are you Boris Johnson, therefore so as long as you are saying 'something' you are happy, irrespective of whether it's total shite or not & it's mostly pure bollocks ?

Imo it's option 3.

I knew I should have put a wink on it.

I get that.

I have a humour block on that, as I can't 'get ready' for Brexit, much as I would like to & would have liked to, if they had got a deal.through 2 years ago, but various right wing cunts are only interested in 'no deal' so I can't.

I was just reconing you were another who used to claim everything had been banjoed by 'no deal' being off the table.

Yet the EU seem to have been preparing for it, nontheless.

Top 5 measurable benefits:
1) Brexit means Brexit
2) Taking back control
3) Let's get Brexit done
4) errr...
5) ...that's it

Please fill in as appropriate

Blue passports .... you forgot the French made Bluepassports

Change UK, SNP, Greens, some Labour and Tories and the liberal Democrats right wing cunts?

Stop solely blaming one side.

Not only is it wrong, it stops you from moving onto the reality of what Brexit is right across the political spectrum.
