I find the Guardian to be amongst the more reliable papers albeit not perfect by any means.I’m stunned the Gruaniad has anything positive to say about the UK or the government in Westminster.

I don't think that I have ever seen a post from @Mazzarelli's Swiss Cheese where he has been anything other than rightYou may well be right but I need to hear it from @mcfc1632 before I can give it any credence
Good news here for the UK and in The Guardian so it must be true.

Covid and Brexit could see UK manufacturers bringing it all back home
Up to £4.8bn worth of goods for British retailers can be made locally, says reportwww.theguardian.com
HmmmmI’m stunned the Gruaniad has anything positive to say about the UK or the government in Westminster.
It is strange how he has seemingly been unable to discern that I have no interest or intention in engaging with him, nor do I consider how I dealt/am dealing with a commitment to other posters to be any concern of hisYou are still waiting for sme random dude on the internet to explain something from last month? Congratulations on making such fine use of your life and oxygen consumed during it.
I find it quite amusing to observe your desperation to engage with me - even by 3rd party/proxy - perhaps I should be flatteredHave you not followed his style? It's not from last month, it's been all year. Apparently I "twisted his words" three years ago so he refuses to argue with me ("you don't understand, but you need to guess why you're wrong"), but he bottled this one, and it seemed to keep him quiet for a fortnight.
Fuck - you know your cars - I had never heard of oneIs that not a Taycan? Fuck sake, some morons don’t deserve to drive these brilliantly designed and engineered vehicles.
Not really. I am a Porscheophile though.Fuck - you know your cars - I had never heard of one
Caused me to google the price - £ouch
Ha Ha - TBF I did not know of the Bruges Group until you pointing it out just now. I am not one of those on here that are 'political activists' - my only real concern on this subforum is BrexitBalanced reflection by the Bruges Group? You do make me chuckle (sometimes).
'The Bruges Group captured the spirit of the increasingly Eurosceptic Conservative Party of the late 1980s and early 1990s, becoming a rallying point for Conservative Maastricht rebels'.
Weren't they who he described as 'Bastards"?
Just who you want to write a 'factual and balanced reflection of Major's attitude to EU'
That would place you to the right of the Bruges Group. Did you not claim yesterday you weren’t a Tory?Ha Ha - TBF I did not know of the Bruges Group until you pointing it out just now. I am not one of those on here that are 'political activists' - my only real concern on this subforum is Brexit
Of course I heard of Major describing a group as 'bastards' but did not know of the link
I described it as being balanced because - well it read like a balanced article to me.
So the reality must be that my views on Major (and Blair) on the subject of the EU and the contempt for UK voters - are somewhat less balanced than this group;-)
I probably won't - well not in the way you mean. and - Sorry - you don't get to decide what I know and think. You will blame Boris whatever the outcome - simply because there is no good outcome from all of this. You know it deep down. Just can’t admit it and will always deflect blame at others , ‘bobbins’ ‘May’ and now Boris.
Ha Ha - I am more balanced than you are suggesting - apart from one subjectThat would place you to the right of the Bruges Group. Did you not claim yesterday you weren’t a Tory?
You have also demonstrated, IMO, - at least on this subject, but not on others I have noticed - that you have a closed mind. The irony.
...............these are genuine questions - seeking a yes/no answerYour mind "is closed" .....to his way of thinking.......if you disagree he will challenge your verdict in court lol

1. No matter what others may think - do you @bluethrunthru genuinely believe that you have and demonstrate to have an open mind on the topic of Brexit?
2. No matter what others may think - do you @bluethrunthru genuinely believe that you have and demonstrate to have an open mind on the topic of the Conservative Party?
3. No matter what others may think - do you @bluethrunthru genuinely believe that you have and demonstrate to have an open mind on the topic of the Covid political thread?
4. No matter what others may think - do you @bluethrunthru genuinely believe that you have and demonstrate to have an open mind on the topic of any other thread on the subforum?
Please - I would be genuinely interested to hear your views of your own level of open-mindedness
No it’s good news that some companies are ramping up UK production in certain areas, which will help with the downturn in other areas. Whether the main factor is Covid or Brexit remains to be seen. I won’t write off Brexit as a factor like you lot do every time there’s bad news though.Dont worry, it will be ignored on this thread and the majority of this forum.
Bad news only if you dont fucking mind.........
Very good news, apart from higher prices for clothing.Good news here for the UK and in The Guardian so it must be true.

I'm quite jealous.@bluethrunthru
Getting 5 tags in one post from one poster must be some sort of record for neediness.
