You're posting Bolloxs. You know full well our trade with the eu is now subject to a mass of red tape not to mention the internal customs border with NI and total loss of the services sector exports to the eu. And the deals you mention are in reality just putting back what we have lost. We are in a worse position and the prospect of engineering a better position outside the eu are close to nil.
Are we still trading? Yes.
Are we no longer a member of the political EU? Yes.

We weren't full members of the EU as we had vetos and if we rejoin we will not have any of those vetos. You wouldn't be suggesting that there was something 'wrong' with our membership or the EU structure itself would you? :)

You changed the subject because your argument is pathetic. Admit that brexit makes us a poorer nation?

Are we still a member: no we are a rule taker. And we surrendered NI to full EU control with zero say over the rules.

WhereTF is Nige?
His big test on sovereignty was the UK having sole access and rights to fish in the UK's territorial waters.
And yet as the fishing industry complains bitterly about being sold out by the Govt. In the deal he's nowhere to be seen.
Come on Nige let's be 'avin you!

Watch for the New Years honours list.

Actually the idea of Farage being placed in chamber of unelected officials is rather delicious.

Have the Brexiteers got the irony button on mute today?

Any nation who wants to trade with the EU has to accept the EU's rules on the Single Market because it is THEIR market. Same with Canada and Japan and anyone else who wants to trade.

I also see that there's a lot of you joining in now!

Stil am, i'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy of those trying to attack others for supporting the decision to leave the EU as wanting to break up the UK but saying nothing about those who actively campaign to want to break up the UK.

Using the "I care about Britain, which is why I voted to remain" line to denigrate those who voted for independence, is so tedious and dishonest. When the Indyref2 debate happens, it'll be interesting to see those remainers attacking you for your support of Scottish Independence as "destroying the UK"

Unless you are a remainer who wanted to remain to keep the UK intact, now?
why would I be that?

I'll leave you "stupids" as you are. It's much funnier when you start arguing for a point I don't have an issue with. :)

The clues are there if you follow and read the thread. I even gave one blatant one earlier!
Fair enough if you don’t see a fracturing of the UK as an issue as long as you get your freedom and sovereignty. Doubt it’s a widely held view amongst brexit supporters though.

why would I be that?
Exactly. How often have you been attacked for wanting to "break apart the UK" though, specifically by other remainers who claim they voted remain because they don't want to see the UK break apart?

We were as a member of the EU. We will be after.

Why, do you hate following EU rules?

Exactly... you want a comprehensive trade agreement with the US... you accept their rules to gain access to their market... wash your chicken in chlorine. Can’t wait to hear the Tory moaning about the loss of sovereignty- washing chicken is simply an erosion of our Britishness.

Meaning it's the safest meat product to consume. Free range or battery, all US chicken is washed in chlorine, the key is to insist only on free range.

Referring to a letter regarding the Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe case.

"That stark assessment was delivered in a letter to lawyers for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who asked the department to lay out the government’s view of its obligations towards her."

Strange that you'd post it that way. Almost as if someone has an agenda.

And its nothing to do with the consequence of Brexit, either. Read the articles first. It helps.

The chlorine is a cover for poor hygiene standards. It’s not the safest product by any means.

Chlorine washed chicken is exceptionally safe to consume. The issue is regarding, as I stated, the condition in which the animal is kept before slaughter as the chlorine is so effective, it washes away any and all bacteria before being prepared for consumption, which could contain clues as to how the animal was kept before treatment.

Actually it sounds as if you did get in trouble (any trouble) you have no right of help from the FCO. So better to be in a country with no British consul then you can get help from the consulate of any EU country. At least, until Friday then you're on your own.

And this is a good thing because...?

Leaving aside the amount, it seems we have imposed Capital controls within our own country...which is bizarre. Even more bizarre that Brexiteers bang on about ‘muh sovereignty’.

HMRC confirms that travellers from GB will need to declare cash of 10,000 euro or more when entering NI from 1 January. Declarations can be made online up to 72 hours in advance.’ @BBC
Having read the detail, it’s not just Euros, it’s any currency including our own.

Do any Brexiteers think that having to make a customs declaration if they’re taking more than £9000 in cash to NI as a consequence of leaving the EU is part of taking back control?
