Only if most of Labour mps ignore their leader.
Some are tweeting they will vote against because that's what their constituents voted for. I doubt they'll be enough for the media to get their knifes sharpened for Keith.

For about the first time ever I feel sorry for kieth on this one. If he goes against it he risks alienating the so called red wall again, and if he votes for it it sort of gets the Tories a free get out of jail card if it goes tits up.

Yes and no on the second point there, whatever the eventual fall out of the deal the present government will have to own. Starmer can always remind us he voted for it because it’s better than nothing not because he thought it a good deal

I've not worked out the parliamentary arithmetic of that, but it might indeed be his best option.

I think there are 79 ish non Con / Lab / Sinn Fein (who won't vote) MPs. Majority probably vote against, Lib Dem and SNP. I'll assume all vote against as worst case.
364 Conservatives,
If Labour all abstain, need 222 votes to pass
So there can be 142 Conservative rebels.
If Labour all vote against (they won't) it will pass anyway and they'll look like they didn't understand what the vote was on.
Probably best to vote for it himself (he said he would) and let the rest of his MPs do what they want
Or pull a sickie.

So there’s basically no chance?

It really would be typical of the UK over the last 5 years for the twats in that House to vote against a deal.

No chance of no deal now on our side.
The only way it could happen is for a massive Tory rebellion (which won't happen), plus Labour with a mix of abstentions and votes against.
But even if it looked like a Tory split, it then makes sense for Labour to vote for the deal to be our saviours from no deal, as opposed to irrelevant bystanders.
EU still has to ratify formally, but that looks likely too, though they might draw it out a bit

No.
Our Government would never do that.
Come on!
I dunno.

Kent drowning in a river of piss thanks to Brexit. Lord Furhrage of Gammon might keep people raging without noticing the cluster fuck going on around them.

2016 - 2019- you can't just copy and paste the EU trade deals with other nations and overnight replicate them.

2020 - There are no new trade deals. All the Govt have done is copy and paste the EU trade deals with other nations and replicate them.

Tossers, all of them.

The LibDems can kiss my arse if they want my vote in the future.
They did themselves in with their Bollocks to Brexit stunt, but to be that idiotic to piss off over half the electorate, and then expect them to vote for you, well, they got what was obviously coming.

Apparently the Eu has ensured that post Brexit UK will respect human rights by building a clause that Eu -UK agreements would be voided if the UK government leaves or violates ECHR.....

So Batty Patels proposal of bringing back the death sentence looks like a non starter.

What are Europeans like eh? Protecting us from the Tories even after we've left.
