Indeed - there will be a few 'Japanese snipers' holding out in their denial - but they will become fewer and less relevant as they 'howl at the moon'

The majority will just get on with their lives
I wonder what happened to that bellowing fruitcake who was dressed in EU regalia outside parliament?

That reads to me that you are accepting that Germany and France are the real power brokers in the EU and have levels of control over the EU. Well done for that candour - others dodge that truth
Indeed, and to condense that control to its purest form, it's Mutti
who's the boss.

F
I may regret asking but why do people expect the disputes mechanisms of such trade deals to be more acceptable than the ECJ (while we were EU members)? It will still be foreign judges.

What's the take on ISDS if we attempt to join CPTPP?

Did anyone actually answer this question?

Nicely for you mate.
You would be among the majority of Brexit voters who were happy with more sovereignty and no deal with any deal being a bonus (even if it was a bit shit).
But the referendum result was a narrow victory and I'd wager that at least a quarter of leave voters thought we would be better off or at least no worse off after brexit which is not the case with this deal.
That would explain why there appears to be Brexit buyers regret in the country.
Brexit buyers regret?!!
Lol, there are delusions, and wishful thinking, if either are now relevant,
but that takes the biscuit.
Save your money with that wager mate.

Spot on! These Remainers really are the turd that just won't flush.
From your only previous visit to the thread it was Labour supporters you had a problem with.

What do you think of Labour Leavers and Tory Remainers?

Or are you too stupid to realise that there is such a thing?

Rather than being some sort of miracle achieved by our negotiating team, the deal itself was actually quite easily struck as we've had to cave given our weaker hand. It was just easier to delay so the detail couldn't be scrutinised by parliament.
Quite easily struck? The revisionism here is breathtaking, we did not cave,
Macron was insisting on complete access to waters up until the death, and what, exactly, is in the detail that hasn't been scrutinised?
Despite years of being told we'd get Jack shit from the EU, we're now out the SM, CU and ECJ, we have a free trade deal, and can now strike deals wherever, and with whoever we like, all of which was not possible before.

But what's better than we had, you never did get back with things in everyday life that are a little better. My things that are a little worse than we already had list is looking very one sided.

Why, what are we discussing now with the EU, and why is it going to take years?
Services, to kick off with. Then we'll start ammending and adding to this ground floor deal. Even Johnson is saying that. Then Fishing is still to be re negotiated.Unless you think everything this covers will be perfect, no mistakes and nothing will need changing ever again.

I would say being outside the SM, CU and ECJ as having jack shit, not some sort of prize handed out by them.

We’ve got a Canada style FTA as long as we retain a LPF, and if we don’t tariffs are introduced. Yes we’ve got jack shit from the EU and we’re giving them nearly as many of our fish as they’ve always had. We’re also paying for access to programs we want to stay part of.

Looking forward to the new trade deals that aren’t inferior rollovers like Japan. Are any in the pipeline?

I am a city fan because my dad and family were and my dad took me to maine road in the 70s and 80s and told me if I ever supported united he would put me up for adoption.
the eu never really came into it to be fair.
An older cousin first took me well before that, I'd never seen so many people
before. Maine Road was rammed, we were playing the Rags, who we beat 3-0.
And your father was obviously a pacifist, mine would have fucking drowned me.

LOL - it speaks volumes that it is Remainers that seem to be queuing up to tell Leavers that we must be disappointed and regretful - whilst we Leavers seem quite content and relaxed

No change there I guess - they have been telling us what we should think for 4 years
