Wont have as much money as our guy but even if has 1/3 its not exactly a pittance is it! Dont want anymore clubs having money at the moment. Its hard enought to convince players of our plan as it is.

abu dhabi always pay for the other 6 emirates " government , education , healthcare ....ect"

Abu dhabi pays over 95%

Dubai and sharjah pays 5%

beside i would say a wealthy person in Abu dhabi might have much more money than RAK shiekh

is sheik mansour richer than this guy?

you bet , i dont think this guy have 5% of what sheikh mansoor have

his invesment all over the world you can't even imagin

everyone says he have 5 billion , but he got much much more

imagin he have transpotation companies in Abu Dhabi which own 80% or more of taxis

not even almaktum have money as much as this shiekh mansour

It could well be Everton. Their shareholding is fractured enough for somebody to buy 60% if they buy the directors shares, and they were in initial discussions with the middle east last summer. However, the shareholdings of various directors means it would be very messy, and why would anybody buy 60% to then pump in millions which they would not get 100% of the return.

I would also tell you that a couple of posters on here know far more about the ownership of your club and the stadium move than you would ever know, so dont embarrass yourself.

Don't embarrass myself ? What a pricky thing to say .
Can't you spot a little tongue and cheek in my post ?

They have said a top english club. if its everton so be it, it will be interesting thats for sure to see how Moyes handles having a few quid. He has been working in relevant comfort right now overachieving where he was supposed to underachieve if he gets a few quid to play with he will now be expected to achieve.

I was told a shiekh was buying part of a prem club a while ago.....( by someone involved in a 'non prem' investment, i believe they used/use the same account/lawyer/solicitor or something like that firm)

I was only given couple of clues...and assumed it was Newcastle (i know Ashley wants to sell completely, but seemed most likely).

Obviously it's not as there no longer a prem side (no shit!).......so thinking back i would imagine it is most likely one of Liverpool/Everton/Manure .....one seems to stand out doesn't it!!

Outside them Birmingham/Villa ....poss Wolves (can't remember if they were up when i was told.

*was DEFFO NOT the Pompey deal.....they didn't match anything i was told.

Everton chairman, Kenwright, was on Talk Sport not long ago saying he has weekly contact with potential investors/buyers of Everton FC but as yet (this was about a month ago) had not found anyone suitable or if he had their desire to invest/buy was not strong enough!
Maybe now he has got a suitable investor/buyer with the desire to take Everton places!

If so it is at a bad time for us as we are still in our developmental stage and considering Everton are a slightly bigger club than us (maybe not in terms of fanbase cos i would say they are similar, although they take up away allocations much higher than ours in recent years) and if Everton get their new stadium (bigger and newer than ours) EFC would probably be a players preferred destination if it was a choice between them and us!

This is unfortunate for us, slightly worrying! But of course nothing has happened yet and it may also just be mixed up paper talk with the Pompey takeover - who knows!?
