Three more dead plus the shooter about three hours west of me. If only more people had guns and shot suspicious people we'd be able to stop all of these killings.

I remember in Vegas , absolulty smashed in a American bar just off the mains strip - spurs were playing madrid and this place was recommended ... Anyway, half time were sitting outside, a car pulls up , 2 blokes get out and asked us If we'd fancied going to the driving range to shoot - we all said no thanks ... Next thing he opens up his boot and is holding a rifle and says ' come on lads , it'll be fun ''... I absolutely shit myself and soon sobered up.

This was broad daylight, on a busy road ...

It's worth pointing out that gun related violence have been declining in the US.

It's not as if dozens of people are being gunned down in the streets every day.

And this tragedy would have occurred anyway despite the policy changes most gun control advocates push for.

So, yet again, another tragedy ends up being used by most (belonging to both sides) to push their own agenda.

It's quite sickening to see.

That stat would suggest people are being gunned down every day
