We sound like the Rags talking about a transition season.

The reality is that Txiki has wasted a shit ton of money on players who haven’t improved the first team. At the same time, we have lost key first team players which has meant a drop in quality.

IMO, if we don’t muster a title challenge this season, and I don’t mean finishing 2nd but 18 points behind the leaders, I mean a realistic challenge, then both Pep and Txiki should be fucked off.

A write off as far as the League is concerned but there is some joy in the domestic cups. Champions League is see how far we can get. Winning it is near enough impossible in our current state. Too many factors that have completely gone against us.

Unfortunately we haven’t done enough to refresh a team going stale and we’re up against a Liverpool side that is both excellent and consistently blessed with luck and favourable refereeing. I fear we’re facing a relatively disappointing farewell to Pep.

We should be aiming to at least make Liverpool work for the league (difficult as if will be giving them a head start), a decent run in the champions league and to win the cups (though Carabao may be tough given our injury list).

Well, maybe years ago. I was just thinking that way because we got two out injured, we had kun, Edin, tevez and Mario one season, always had cover, if we had four strikers we'd be fine now.

Name me a club that has four forwards ? Let alone one that plays one up front and if you find a club that does I bet you that one or two of them are youth players that cost them nothing and I bet there first two are no where near kun or Augeros level

Didn’t we have tevez, balotelli, dzeko, aguero in the same season 2011-2012 ? I’d have Edin back tomorrow just for to see us through the season.
