Any scam calls

One I had last week was I was expecting a delivery of a package from Royal Mail that day. Got a text from what looked like Royal Mail saying they couldn’t deliver the package and to rebook using the link. All looked legit but then asked for £2.49 fee or something and asked for my card details. Closed it all down and about 30 minutes later the package was actually delivered by the postman and he confirmed it was bollocks.

How they knew i was due a package that day I have no idea, but I imagine that would catch a fair few put.

I hope you didn't automatically ring any number on the email and did it through RA's web site.
Yeah got the no off their site ,really bizzare we had to take a picture of his passport ,then a selfie then ,eyes shut ,smiling head right head left ,
It spun round for 30 seconds did what it was doing and cleared us onto the flight .

They probably don't, it's just an automated system with a random number generator or a database of numbers gained from hackings.

They probably don’t know but they will always have a small percentage who are actually waiting for a parcel.

We had something very similar a while ago, same amount if I can remember. Called round to the PO sorting depot and they said it's bollocks.

Ditched my land line a couple of years ago. Recently found out that my mobile provider offers a service where anyone that calls you gets a message telling them to enter a 3 or 4 digit number to complete the call. Any automated calls won't be able to do that.
I have had one unwanted call since I added it a couple of months ago.
You can also add 25 numbers to your account that don't have to go through that extra step.

The first time l got a very professional looking document fro Royal Mail l rang the delivery office who confirmed it was a common scam.
So why don't they put leaflets through doors to warn people? Many people would fall for this scam.

I string them along, I agree to everything, but then do nothing. It's quite funny.
Its amazing how nasty some of them get when you scam the scammer at least in terms of time so long as you don't have better things to do.

I lead a sad life (LOL).
