Yeah , 30,000 would be a decent turn-out ...... seeing as the Copenhagen first leg turn-out was about 31,000.

This tie certainly isn't over yet ...... one goal without reply will win it for either side.
i really dont think 30000 will be a good turn out we are the furthest we've been in european competion for years and dont give me the moneys tight crap im willing to bet half the fans saying that shite will spend 20 quid in the pub watching the fucking game!!

When you buy tickets from the Arndale do you get charged a booking fee?

The reason I ask is that when you buy tickets on-line they charge you an extra £3.00 which seems a bit of a rip-off seeing as it's all automated!

No booking fee at all In The arndale.

Just go to the till and ask for a ticket. They will then show you on the screen all the available seats for you

Much less messing around than the coms ticket office

The only downside is that they only sell home game ticketS

I think the Villa crowd may be enhanced by their current league position, style of play etc. But it's a fair shout. Be nice to see & hear a full stadium...it's only a matter of time though dudes...I travel 200 miles round trip & it's a late night every mid week game, but it's worth it...but hey, bring on Hamberg! My mates out there & is desperate to see De Jong & Vinny again! So I hope we meet them along the way...

Fair point made before about the wannabes spending 20 quid in the pub watchin it instead of goin to the game. Everybody has different reasons but there are quite a few who just cant be arsed but watch them appearing out of the woodwork if we go further in this competition.

Well Villa fans will not be happy tonight if it is true that he has left 8 players out

city have a hardcore of 30,000 simple as that some times the stragglers will join in but to be honest they`re the twats on here that i`m not particulary arsed if they never come again .
better than the armchairs over the road but only just,
Listen to the fuckers whinge in a couple of years when the bandwagon jumpers are stealing their tickets ,i wont have an awful lot of sympathy
Shame really after all these years

I'd be pleased with 30k as it's more than I expected but even so we should be looking at getting close to 40k. We were getting about 30k against Blackpool and Port Vale.

Our league attendances are good. This game is cheaper than league matches which means it is more accessible to those who can't afford to go as often as they like. Perhaps some season ticket holders can't afford cup matches on top of their ST but I'd imagine these are in a minority. I think it's just laziness when so many people don't bother with cup games but go to all the league games.
