Anyone been to Buenos Aires?

Its a wonderful time for foreigners to come to Argentina not just Buenos Aires as the peso is so weak and it will be super cheap for you guys.Argentina is an amazing diverse country from the tropical north east to the glaciares of the south. The indigino North west the wines of Mendoza the sierra of Cordoba(Julian ,Kempes) and amazing Patagonia.Buenos Aires is magnificent and there wont be problems about the Malvinas nor for vegetarians.River's Monumental is Monumental capacity for 2023 will be 85000 with a perfect pitch.Average attendance in 2022 was 65000.Almost 2 million at the stadium last year 23 will be more.Even i have to admit Bocas little ground has an atmosphere as do Racing and Indendiente whose stadiums are super close.San Lorenzo home of so many chants is a no for you guys maybe even for me now.Velez Lanus and Huracan are also big teams

Going to Buenos Aires in March, anyone know the easiest way to get tickets to a River Plate game?
The reality is even with an 85000 capacity only socios usually can get a ticket so you will have to one of the agencies and pay above the odds.We are home to Godoy Cruz around Marzo 12 and Union Santa Fe last weekend. Both small clubs so it might be a bit easier.Make sure you visit the Museo and get a tour of the club which is far more than just futbol

Looking at going to Argentina next year. How easy is it to get tickets to games? I read that Boca and River are now members only, so no chance of getting tickets, whilst Independiente and Racing are barely any easier. Is that right?
Also, how safe are the Popular parts of the grounds, or would tourists be better off in the seated areas?

Any particular time of year you’d recommend as well? I presume Torres Del Peine (Chile I know) national park is bloody cold from May through to October?

Tourists can get tickets for games.Ask at your hotel for the agents who organise. Its more dificult at River as they have cut down a lot on black market. A possibility is go to the club and do the stadium tour and Museo. They might try and help. If you have Spanish the "populares" should be ok at River or maybe Velez. Independiente and Racing will be much eaaier.Anywhere else go to the seats.Torres Del Paine is one side of the Andes El Chalten and Fitzroy the other.Spectacular place go to the glaciares at El Calafate nearby they are amazing.Do both sides of the border its worth it.Aerolineas Argentinas have daily flights to El Calafate,Esquel and Bariloche from either Aeroparque or Ezeiza. In that part of Patagonia November to March is best but remember almost all of Argentina go on holiday in January.

Are you named Passarella after the fine Argentine World Cup winning captain of 1978?
