Anyone else a bit fed up of football?

They're playing with confidence, hope they give the mickeys a game next week.
Whats the script with Antonio, muscle injury or just a knock,

preying for just a knock but will have to wait and see. No chance Anfield without him.

fed up because we're not playing to our potential.
easier to take if we knew we were a mid table team.
much harder to take after what we're used too.
we feel lke we should be winning and we aren't.
can't work out why we arent.

fed up, no. dissapointed with this team and its potential and frustated, yes.

Add my last comment onto this post from this thread and this is exactly how I currently feel about the game.

15 quid to watch a game talks of a European premier league which is basically a system to protect the old big boys for ever. Top level football as we know it is just about to eat itself

In away having no crowds at games has helped certain teams and their compliant media . In the very few replays they showed of the handball for the west Ham goal, each time it was shown, they managed to start the video from a few frames after the handball happened, and by the time the commentators had added a few comments, and Walton had seen it but then forgot he had seen it in a matter of seconds, the whole event had been wiped from the games timeline, never to be seen or refered to ever again it just didn't happen . Same with Slabhead commentators play down the whole event, they show couple of replays the comms laugh and joke about it being "part of football" and it's gone from the games timeline, again never to be refered to ever again, it didn't happen and no crowd to ever remember it did cos they were not there. Everything about games can be manipulated and controlled by tv, and what ever agenda is required at the time can be manufactured. I have no idea how Sergio is a free man walking the streets after his pre meditated sexual attack on a young girl . No crowd is allowing the media to whitewash anything in the game that they don't wish to be seen, or certain teams want seen.

Its not football in a sporting sense anymore. It's WWE sports entertainment. The manipulation of VAR and the sychophantic sports journalists thinking they are minor celebs supporting the cause.

I really want to give it up.

Last game I went to was United away. It's also the last top level game I've watched on any format.

VAR, the whole TV side being aimed at kids up to 20 somethings, covid restrictions, its all added up to something I don't like.

Started going to my local non league side. 20 quid for the season ticket. Beer stood next to the pitch. Pie and chips at half time and a few jars after. Walk home happy.

I'm sure when it comes back properly I'll start up again but at the moment that seems a long time away.
