Anyone else been accused of the Glory Hunting Tag yet?

In my old place of work I was accussed of this even before we won the FA CUP, bet you only started going because the footballs better. Trust in my response being "between 2004 and 2008 I was either too young to afford to go with no job and my whole thoughts and money concentrated on getting into University, the fact that I have over 2,500 loyalty points would suggest I've been going for more than 3 years, considering I can only go to the odd away game and can barely afford the season ticket as it is" - This was followed by "so you have only being going since 2008?" (baring in mind this was a rag) my response was "nope I was there when Keane scored in the 3-2, and when Beckham scored that free-kick in 2001, but I was also there when Neville fed the goat in the final Manc derby at Maine RD" ---- silence.

Get it all the time now,but since the derby demolition not a sound so f@@k em.A lad from Salford works with me and he is the first good rag I've come across and he txt me after the derby and said we were awesome and fully deserve we're we are,I nearly passed out after reading that

I have, it was on a stadium tour of St. James Park a couple of weeks back. Got talking to this guy and he asked who I supported, I replied Man City. He then called me a glory hunter and "did you start supporting them in 2008 when robinho came".
So I asked him who he supported, turns out he was a Man Utd fan and he says he has supported them all his life so he can't be a glory hunter. Only thing being, he was from Africa and and had only been in the UK for 2 months.

I haven't myself, but one of the little lads teachers asked him if he'd jumped on the bandwagon, cheeky twat!
A few years agowhen my youngest was at nursery, a little lad in his class came up to him & said City were rubbish. My boy responded with Man U are crap & Wooney looks like Shrek & the little boy burst out crying!!! Lol

Anyway, when his mam came to collect our boy after work, incredibly the teacher pulled her to one side & started going on with herself about how our son caused the other boy to cry 'which wasn't very nice of our son'!!! His mam told the teacher where she could shove her complaint & reported her to the head for 'Rag Bias'!!! :-)

by a bristol city fan whilst on holiday, summer just gone.

i completely burst out laughing.

I am more than happy to admit to being a Glory Hunter. My first City match was in 1968
