Mr Lewis (Tech Drawing) and Middle school head teacher "TAFFY" Thomas were famous at Wright Robbie in 1976.

two teachers who was at my school was both famous. first was john shearwood who won bronze in mexico in the 400m hurdles and the 2nd was alan loundes who played rugby for castleford i think, in fact b4 he came to our school he played in the rugby cup final.

Both Kylie and Dannii Minogue went to my school Camberwell High, given her age guessing Kylie probably finished there the year I was born (86).

Longstanding rumour flying round was that Kylie (or Dannii, the sibling was always interchangeable) lost her virginity in one of the portable buildings at the school...

I went to the same school as our very own Scall! Beat that!
(although I'm much older than him)
The only other 'famous' types from that school were
Sally Lindsay (off Corrie)
Phil Whelan (used to play for Ipswich, Boro and some others), big lad, had lots of injuries, think he retired young
That Monaghan lad out of Lord of the Rings, his uncle Mike was my History teacher (who I spotted at the game the other week)

Nicky Butt went to the same primary school as me...but not at the same time.

That brings back memories!! Although I was only at Wright Robby for a year before I had to move house and leave that school (an Education Department disaster if ever there was one, as it was all downhill after I left there, I was the perfect 'A' pupil at WRHS!)
