Anyone had run ins with city players outside of football?

Had a night out at the end of last season and talked with Bridge, SWP, Sturridge, Zabaleta and Garrido (can't remember anyone else) all seemed sound and didn't really talk about the playing side of things, but I'd been out all day so I wouldn't call myself the best judge of character in that state.

my mates went on holiday to magaluf a last pre season and they got on the plane on the way there n Johnson was on it they spoke to him n had some photos ect they said he was sound.
then on the way back he was on their plane again and he was leatherd.

my mate saw johno in 42nd street (no surprises) and he asked him how his injury was going and he told him to fuck off. that was about mid season just gone.

not a blue , but at G-MEX years ago during a masters tournament , i gave Graham Rix aload of abuse about having an underage girlfriend . he wanted to jump over the perspex boards and square up to me , lol . fuckin' paedo .

Ive had a run in with Tony Coton and Sam Ellis once, and years later with peter Barnes.
..My cousin, my brother , and my mate got leathered to fuck by Eric Nixon and his mates in the eighties outside Fridays night club in Northenden.....All because my cousin said "Alright Eric"....

Strike that one up as a wank3r then!

No, Eric is a top bloke.

Withington lad, always around South Manchester with his family and gets involved with charity work for Francis House every year from the Red Lion in Withington. He's a blue as are his brothers.

He did actually smak a mate of mine and put him on his arse back in the 80s, but that was when he was about 16 and my mate was being a dick. Eric is a top bloke. I went to his testimonial against Tranmere as did many blues.

Dunney was a mate of some lads that a mate of mine worked with,so he came to see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with us at the Academy a few years back.He only arrived as the band were going on so didn't get a chance to chat.
His wife is the sister of a mate of a mate too.We ended up using her tickets for Blackburn at home a couple of seasons back.Annoyingly we'd already bought tickets which we didn't have time to sell and the ones we used were shit.Difficult to stand up and swear your head off when Dietmar Hamann's(i think) young daughters are on the row behind you.We hung around in the players lounge after to thank Dunney for the tickets but he never showed up so didn't get to speak to him then either.I was also more interested in the free nosebag than talking to the players who were in there Hamann,Petrov,Onuha.

Funnier was my cousin waiting for a plane at Ringway. He looked up from his paper and thought a bloke looking at him seemed familiar.Happened a second time and the bloke says hello to him.My cousin says hello back thinking where the hell do I know this guy from.
Shortly after his mates come over and ask him if he saw Utd's players flying out.The bloke was Pallister who presumably thought my cousin(a Liverpool fan) was a fan of his.

Can only second the stuff about Eric.A decent lad.
Still as big as a door and can well handle himself.

saw Mark Kennedy and Alan Oakes goalie son Michael in the Coachman in Hartford one saturday night, they'd been playing for Wolves ,granted i was a bit pissed ,but Kennedy got a bit arsey when i asked him about the rumour that Beckhams minders grassed him up to the police and got him done for DD after he'd been taking the piss out of Beckham and his missus in a pub in Alderley Edge , i remember Michael Oakes who was sat behind Kennedy ,staring at me ,shaking his head, and mouthing NO,NO,NO as i was asking the question
