My mate said once the first steward asked him to go with him 4 more escorted him to the door, bit excessive

These are response teams, they are used in ALL ejections including smoking, fighting, pitch invasions etc not stewards in orange or yellow coats. There are also plain closed teams now used in eliminating smoking operations.

Just an added extra it was noted after Saturdays game a number of alcohol bottles had been taken into areas 109/110/111 I assure you if you are caught they will confiscate the seasoncard no exceptions. Is it worth it ? I think not. these fans obviously thought they would take the p*ss by leaving the empties behind, not really clever leaving them under their seats instead of taking the empties with them, thus now seat areas noted and closer CCTV coverage will be employed in those areas for future matches. DOH!

Not really. If you get a half pissed nob who's being chucked out, I would think it's 50-50 if he tries to tw@ the steward as he's being ejected.
However if there are five stewards there...............

Strange! As since I heard about this light business, I've been going in with my sons card and him with mine for virtually every game this season to see if its true, and never been stopped
Try going in a minute or two after!!! The day this happened I had my 3 year old with me he legged it towards the shop so gave my eldest the card he went in I grabbed the bab then went in.

Just been told by someone who has sat in 3rd tier that stewards let people smoke up there, i wouldnt know is this true does anyone else know

Absolutely untrue, but they have been known to get away with smoking on the "Towers - Spirals" with the stewards up there turning a blind eye. Unfolrtunately if you are on Level One this isn't an option.

Since you have to upgrade the junior ticket to an adult,do the club reimburse the difference between an adult ticket and a child using it? As I can't make most of the midweek games I let my son takes one of his mates using my ticket.
But say once a season I take my pensioner uncle using my son's ticket, I would be peeved if they suddenly said I should have upgraded it. Swings and roundabouts comes to mind

Do stewards let people smoke on the third tier? No they do, not either they are stricter or there are less selfish smokers up there. Much less of a problem than on level 1 or 2 that I have seen.
