Anyone met a famous celebrity and worth a post?

Met several rockstars - All of 1980 version of Kiss plus Diana Ross, who was dating Gene Simmons at the time. Drank tea with Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and some other band members backstage at Wrexham FC. Phil Lewis of Girl. Pushed Phil Collen's, then of Girl but since longtime in Def Leppard, broken down car up Charing Cross Rd. Chatted to bass player from Kansas whilst he was waiting to go onstage at Day on the Green, where we were guests of UFO and with Ross Halfin, well known rock photographer, who also introduced us to Ozzy and Sharon after a gig in MCR.

Went in the City Players' Lounge several times courtesy of Didi Hamann, who I first met in my brother's kitchen. Chatted to some chap called Riyad Mahrez at Our kid's Xmas party in 2021. Met Buzzer a couple of times and Brian Marwood.

The daughter of actors Tessa Peake-Jones and Doug Hodge used to babysit for our daughters when they were much younger.

Our next door neighbour was a regular on a day time TV show.

I once had breakfast with Dustin Hoffman and others at the Old Swan hotel in Harrogate in 1978. Our company had a convention there at the same time as the movie "Agatha" was being filmed there. It told the story of Agatha Christie's famous disappearance from her home in the 1920s owing to marital and mental problems. This was front page news at the time and she stayed at the hotel revisiting the place, scene of lovers' trysts involving her unfaithful husband and his mistress. Hoffman was quite happy to discuss his past filming experiences. Also at the bar we did have a couple of drinks in the company of Vanessa Redgrave (Agatha) and Timothy Dalton (her husband and a staunch City supporter). We did witness several movie scenes lined up. Extras were scrutinised for unsuitable clothing, watches etc for the period. Good and unexpected experience.

I'd of loved it if you'd of slapped his hand when he went to grab the last piece of toast and said HOFFMANS!!

This was back in the late eighties and he was booked to open a local disability shop that my company helped stock and he really didnt want to be there and really showed it what a let down he was
This happened to my wife with Mr Tumble, who came to her school to entertain the kids and he didn't want to be there. He was a first class knob head, and he turned up stinking of alcohol. Never meet your heroes:)
