Kate Bush (got a kiss off her). Kim Wilde. All the members of Kiss 1992. Princess Alexandra. Steve Diggle Buzzcocks.

Many years ago, I discovered that my next door neighbour was a great friend of Kim Wilde.

I was in my kitchen one day and glanced across to next door's kitchen window (as you do). I thought I was seeing things when Kim Wilde was looking back at me. She was staying with my neighbour for the weekend.

My (then) missus wasn't too keen on my idea of inviting Kim round for tea... I think I may have come on a little bit too keen tbh.

:-)

This was back in the late eighties and he was booked to open a local disability shop that my company helped stock and he really didnt want to be there and really showed it what a let down he was

I saw Red Rum opening a bookies in Southport around 1974. He didn't look like he wanted to be there. He just shook his head and shat on the pavement.

That's bad form from a fellow blue. Shame on you Mr Tumble.

I saw Leonardo Di Caprio and Toby Maguire walking along Bondi Beach back in 2011/12. They were trying to be low-key but were the only fuckers on the beach wearing more than a bikini/swim shorts so stuck out a mile!

I sat adjacent to Freddie Flintoff and Jimmy Anderson on a flight to Manchester in Dec 2008. They were transferring through Gatwick on their way back from India. Both were sound, spoke to Freddie for a good 20 minutes. Spoke about City with him as he at least pretended to be a fan back then and had been at a few games and on the pitch iirc. Proper character.

Also saw the entire England cricket team at Heathrow when I was flying out to Oz in Feb 2011. Didn't speak to them but gave Straussy a shout as we'd just beaten the Aussies 3-1 in the Ashes in Australia that Dec/Jan
