Apparently we copied our red and black kit from AC Milan!

As much as i hate to say it, i have read that psycholgically the colour red inspires a winning mentality, whereas blue is calming. (sub-conciously obviously)
I forget where i saw it, but it does seem to follow a pattern of sorts, e.g 3 of the sky 4 wear red or primarily red shirts.

This is true. For example, lots of banks websites are now in sky blue, which is designed to make visitors feel calm and at ease when viewing the web page and is likely to leave positive connotations in the mind about the organisation and the services.

Another example is McDonalds. There is a lot of red inside their "restaurants" which makes people feel uncomfortable and designed to make people want to leave quickly, hence they can turn service around more quickly.

To the op: Yes

Not for a long time now. I'm no McDonalds regular but if you've been in one in the last 3 years you'll see it's more like lime green, beige and brown now.

They have changed there method, now they just produce shit food served by incompetent staff to keep the queues down.

changed? I seem to remember that was always their modus operandi? Except now they've added "sneaking the odd bit of chicken bone into chicken nuggets" to their arsenal.

I have just found out on wikipedia that we used to play at Maine Road.
Bet you so-called blues didn't know that.
It was in a place called Rush Home.

Correct. The name "Rusholme" was coined by irate city fans fed up of the fact that fans were leaving matches at Maine Road five minutes before the end.

That is the danger of building a stadium on a Maine Road, while it showed good foresight, it definately hindered the viewing experience of non-tourist locals. Though it must be said that planning for city in those days were second to none
