Are expections too high for next season?

If he had a full pre season I'd be a bit disappointed if we didn't match this season's Champ's Lg & be serious contenders in the top two in the Prem, but I'm not sure how he can convert the team to his way of playing in the short time he will have to work with the players.

Unless he builds the team around the kids, who have already been coached in a style more similar to Pep's. We are so far off at first team level currently, I just don't see how it's possible to fix it in one shortened pre season. If he does, he really is an absolute genius.

Pure unadulterated rubbish, your whole premise is dependent on no other teams playing
To expect to win anything is very raggish/arrogant but you don't even have expectation, and to top it all if we don't won't two trophies and finish fourth in Europe then it's an epic fail, do me a favour...

You clearly haven't been reading any of the match day threads for the last 3 years then have you?

Pelligrini did it in his first season and many on here still haven't forgiven him.

Unless we win the World Cup and Olympics double I'm ripping up my season ticket and throwing it at Pep. Like that bloke in Newcastle.

No need for any snide remarks we are just talking about Guardiola. But now you have brought up the current waste of space, we were a far better side then, with Pellegrini taking over Mancini's team & adding a couple of players, than we are now that Pellegrini has changed the team to his image, in spite of spending 100s of millions.

I recon Guardiola will do the opposite.

Winning the

League
FA Cup
Capital One Cup
European Super Cup
Club World Cup
Champions League

Is the minimum for me

Season after next we MUST concerntrate on the Community Shield! No World Cup/Euros that summer so no excuses!

I find the expectstions here to be shockingly low. Which is strange but unsurprising.

At the minimum, he should out perform MP. Do at a minimum he Needs to win 4 trophies over the next 3 years.

He should make CL finals at least once ( assuming Pellars doesn't make it this year).

He should make it out of the group stage of CL every year.

Id afford him the leeway to chose when he wants to start winning his 4 or more trophies.

Anything less than the above will be a gross underachievement.
