He’s made for games like today.
Mahrez in some games, but not all of them.

Gundo & Mahrez are big losses

We miss all of their experience and their playing abilities to greater and lesser extents. We even miss Palmer’s ability to conjure up something out of nothing in extremely tight spots.

Gundogan is a huge loss. He was the general on the field everything went through him. He was a big match player and a calming influence.

We've replaced him with Kovacic who does not have these qualities.
