I don't think you can say Gundo and Ffs were average before they joined on the contrary both were outstanding. Pep did of course improve them further. Also I would hope Gundo will be back one day in a coaching capacity.At the end of the day, we will be better come the middle of May and that's what matters!
As good as they were, they are part of the past now. When Gundogan and Mahrez joined the club, they were pretty average until Pep coached them and then they became world class like all the players he coaches.

it's telling that, other than Gvardiol, none of the new boys made the line up yesterday and we looked so much better for it. Given time I'm hopeful that they will step up and fill the boots of the departees, but as of yet I'm seeing little sign
I agree with your point,but think you can add a few to that list, Dias for sure, Bernado, Akanji, perhaps even include Leroy and Alvarezonly been three players for me that's been signed by Pep and thrown in and played consistently from the start.
