Are United Really 17 Points Better Than Us ATM?

Im thinking youre not taking into consideration how shit we were earlier in the season...especially when we couldnt deal with fixture congestion after the new year.

As it stands now looking at the two teams and their respective performances I would find it hard to separate us in terms of ability. The season isnt decided like that though....unfortunately.

The good news though is we have improved where they have stayed the same

The thing with utd, as much as I do not like to admit it, they are a machine, they turn defeats into draws and draws into wins, so the answer is yes they are 17 points better than us

I no us city fans have tunnel vision. But to be honest we are miles behind them 1 good result in fa cup. And every one getting carried away. Since after new year we have been not so good. Have not won 1 away game wake up and smell the coffee.

what i think....
1. they have a machine mentality, going at it until the final whistle, masters of never giving up hence the 1 nils when most other teams would settle for the draw.
2. they have a winning nature to them, that no one else seems to match, if arsenal had the same i reckon they would be pushing the rags close.

however every season they are involved in some of the decisions that put them atleast 6-9 points better off at the season close.
this season i can recall...
1. the rooney assualt on mccarthy.
2. the nani/gomes goal that clattenburg bottled.
3. the red card for ratface at stoke that never came.
4. the other red card for rateface against i team i cant remember that again never came.

Better organization. They can press high up the pitch, throw everyone forward, and still concede about the same number of goals that we can playing back with 2-3 DM's as cover.

They also cross and play wide better.

They have more experience playing with one another. Easier to anticipate someone you've played with for 5-10 years than someone you've known for 3-8 months.

That's 17 points in a nutshell. Still lucky cunts, though.
