Are we going to win the League ?

I think the league title will go more or less to the wire this season with us, chelski and the rags in contention. We have the easier run in on paper so we've every chance.

But, I just hope that the title isn't decided by the match officials. After a few key decisions last season, I'm not convinced it's all on the level. We just have to start winning our games decisively and make sure we can't be caught.

We're so better then them it's untrue. Even in a game we lost the other day we made them play like Wigan against us.

It doesn't mean we'll win it if we continue with lazy approach to games and start pushinng in last 20 minutes.

It would be big underachievement if we don't make it.

was listening to talkshite on the way home tonight with goughy and that other tit and they were both writing City off winning the league totally, goughy was saying the rags to win it and that tit durham saying chelsea,i was trying to get through on the phone and offer them £100 bet each but couldnt get through.City will piss it

If we don't win the league it will rank alongside the failures of 72 and 77.

I reckon we are virtually certain to win it given the sheer strength of the squad.

That Liverpool team in '77 was as good as any in their 'istree, so whilst it was obviously disappointing to lose it by such a close margin (Dave Watson o.g. etc..) , it could hardly be described as an out-and-out failure.

It's a 2 horse race with us & United I think. We need to up our game as quickly as possible if we are going to win it & I think it will be pretty close again this year.

Who knows? It doesn't look too good at the moment but we overtook those bastards from further behind last season didn't we!!

I'm just really fucking annoyed that the transfers made in the summer were so shit (apart from Nastasic) that it effectively made us worse. If we'd signed van Persie we'd be 10 points clear of those rag tossers right now. Mindless, ambitionless decisions were made in summer in my opinion and it's cost us dearly (CL exit, lack of goals, etc.) Hopefully we can go some way to addressing this in January.

Mario and Dzeko out, Falcao and Bale in would be a good start, but not holding my breath.

I said before the season started that I think Utd will win it and then Fergie will step down. I still think this will be the case.
We're underperforming and have been all season, yet I can't see any evidence of us stepping up a gear.
I've seen it, and so have many friends, we just do not look like a team this year.
I hope I'm proven wrong, but so far......
