Are we going to win the league?

What has this got to do with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie being the two best players in the league...?

You have an argument for Van Persie but Rooney is too hit and miss to be called the second best player in the league. Suarez may be an utter **** but he's a better player than Rooney.
Aguero is having a poor season by his standards but he's better than Rooney too and that's without my blue tinted specs on.
He's the best at shagging grannies and getting humongous pay rises though so bully for him.

I disagree. Rooney has been involved in 68 goals in 66 games for United (47 goals & 21 assists) since the beginning of last season. I'm almost certain that he's the most productive player in the PL behind van Persie over the last couple of seasons. And that's from playing largely in a deeper role. It's very impressive and I think sometimes he doesn't get the credit he deserves, he's an amazing player.
You won't get this lot admitting it mate, but he's up there with silva as one of the best players in the league. He's one of only a handful of your players id have like a shot. Rooney is a world class **** but he's a world class player too.

The only difference this season is RVP and our strikers not scoring consistently.

Their keeper isn't as good as ours.
Their defence isn't as good as ours.
Their midfield isn't as good as ours.
Their attack has been better than ours this season.

How the f*** can you go 6 games without conceeding a goal and still find ourselfs 10 points a drift? And even befoRe the run of clean sheets, City were hardly leaking goals.

It's all if and but's, but if City/Marwood had managed to sign RVP, the league would be over by now.

I expect City to use the Mario money, double it, and go for either Cavani, Suarez, or Falcao in the Summer.

There's going to be twists and turns right until the last day when they've got West Brom away for whom the pressure will be off and can play their football without worry. We need to go on a run of at least 5 wins and a draw at Everton before we head to Stretford. In that time, United have to go to West Ham, QPR and Sunderland. All games where a draw wouldn't be a huge shock. If we can be within 3 points of them after the derby, it's game on.

Too many draws this season (7). Previous managers got slaughtered on here for the same thing. If we'd lost two of those games, won two of them and drew the remaining three, we'd be four points better off. Draws are no good when you're chasing titles. The vermin have lost a game more than we have, but they've won 5 more than we have. There's your answer.

2 points better off - but correct, 2 points in this league is important. (7D 7 pts v 2W 3D 2L 9pts) - if we win every game from here, united only have to drop 4 more points, which is probably going to happen. So, that has to be the aim, starting today.

The way they are going they are well on target to beat chelsea's 29 wins in a season record
And the 95 points total they set

Correct. I apologise, and give way to your better mathematical prowess.
