Are we going to win the league?

The only difference this season is RVP and our strikers not scoring consistently.

Their keeper isn't as good as ours.
Their defence isn't as good as ours.
Their midfield isn't as good as ours.
Their attack has been better than ours this season.

How the f*** can you go 6 games without conceeding a goal and still find ourselfs 10 points a drift? And even befoe the run of clean sheets, City were hardly leaking goals.

It's all if and but's, but if City/Marwood had managed to sign RVP, the league would be over by now.

I expect City to use the Mario money, double it, and go for either Cavani, Suarez, or Falcao in the Summer.
Too many draws this season (7). Previous managers got slaughtered on here for the same thing. If we'd lost two of those games, won two of them and drew the remaining three, we'd be four points better off. Draws are no good when you're chasing titles. The vermin have lost a game more than we have, but they've won 5 more than we have. There's your answer.

The reasons we are behind united is,

van Persia has improved them that there is no doubt.

United break faster, meaning when attacking there forwards find themselves in more 1 on 1 situations than our strikers.

We break slower giving the opposition time to get 11 back behind the ball and time to get organised.

United over the years have built up a fear factor, so if opponents find themselves up in a game they as the game goes on start to sit deeper and deeper trying to protect what they have. This means United's opponents stop as an attacking thread, it also mean united constantly have the ball and have the momentum

Previous manager was in mid table getting those draws that the difference! Also the scum like I've said before are on the most points at this point in time in the premier league EVER! We are doing fine it's just another club are breaking records! So fans moaning and blame every one and anyone look at the facts
The way they are going they are well on target to beat chelsea's 29 wins in a season record
And the 95 points total they set

Yep they are but all we have for to keep doing is winning and winning the next 2 games will put pressure on the scum and we do know now they do CRACK
True
Am still fairly confident we will win our next 14 games and retain the title :)

It's frightening at the moment, I can't believe they are so far ahead at the top. I've seen them quite a few times on the tv this season and their mediocrity has been there for everyone to see but they keep scoring the goals to win games they have been struggling in. They were average against Fulham yesterday, hanging on in midweek to beat Soton at home, hanging on to beat Liverpool before that and under the cosh for the whole of the 2nd half at Tottenham yet unbelievably, there they are, 10 points clear at the top. There are other games too, scraping past West Ham at home, last minute winner at home to Newcastle at Xmas.....these are all recent games. You could accept it if they were battering teams 3/4 nil most weeks but they're not.
I just think they're due a bad run and will be found out but I keep saying that most weeks and now time is running out. I honestly think that if they go on to win the league then they will be the poorest side to have won it for a good long time.

Win today, win at Southampton, gap is four points.

With a United game against Everton at home on the Sunday, let's see where we stand after that.

I think we will drop too many points of our own, but to put the pressure back in their court from one week to the next, is all we can do and defend our crown like true champions.

If this becomes a procession, then questions have to be asked.

I can't see them having the sort of bad run we need them to have. Given that it's almost inevitable that we will drop points during the run in, we'll need them to lose 4 or 5 games (or the equivalent in draws), and that's allowing for us winning at OT. In 13 games. That isn't going to happen.

When we play the scum we can't be more than 6 points behind! Win that game and I have the feeling they will bottle it!

We have to win all our games i can't see anything else being good enough. It means that Roberto will have no choice but to press the game up the field as a collective unit. Sure we may concede but we have to start scoring and getting back to eating teams for breakfast. It's a huge ask, but fuck if we do it it will destroy those bastards in Trafford for sure.
