Again, no. We're just not good enough. FA Cup is the only trophy we can win this season.

I think we are good enough if we pass the ball faster. taking 20 passes to get to the opponents penalty area has been our down fall this season

I agree. The disappointing summer transfer window, and the lack of activity in this transfer window, are telling us something. Maybe FFP is working by stopping us in our tracks? I don't think so. Maybe we're planning major changes in the summer, so are keeping our powder dry? Seems much more likely to me. We may end up losing the battle this season, but the war is far from over imo.
