So no different from any other government anywhere in the world really......You always have to question anyone who wants to go into politics.

The general population voted them in so blame the 40 odd percent of the 70 odd percent etc...........

Fortunately we are binning them for someone who will get 40 odd percent of the........... etc

Some will then claim democracy is alive and well coz their guy is in so it's now okay. Round and round we go and not many will accept its the fucking voters who are actually to blame.


* I have no idea what percentage of the electorate actually voted, 70 odd % was just a guess. Wouldn't surprise me if it was 60 odd such is the general apathy.
 
Re benefits the Gov has always been able to access bank accounts of claimants via the Social Security Act but, ONLY if fraud is suspected i.e. the person is under investigation.

Strikes me this new 'idea' assumes everyone is at it, maybe the Tories shouldn't act as though they think the public are as dishonest as they are.

They should add politicians‘ bank accounts to the bill, to check for any corruption, bribery or fraud.

It’d be only fair.
