Are You Officially Priced Out Yet, Or Almost?

Not to far away from it, my boy goes into cat 16/17 next season so that will be a test.

No season cards for £520? Or do you need second tier Colin Bell Stand?
I'm sure there is £520 season tickets. And £750+ season tickets. We can't all sit in the cheapest seats unfortunately.

But £520 does sound familiar. That was around the price of my CB2 ticket (maybe £50 more) when I moved there around 6/7 years ago. You know, back when there was less than 40, 000 prepared to support the club each week and we needed loyalty from our core supporters to keep the club afloat.

The cheapest are non-concession early price adult could renew this season was £575 gold/£625 will full loyalty points SS Lower.

I paid £585 SSL, went gold this year. I did the DD scheme last year so that I could save money over the last 12 months. Saving money again for the next 12 months too and so on.

Each to their own I know but we remain one of the cheaper clubs for Season Tickets, especially factoring in the annual top 4 finishes and Championship wins.

Not saying it's right but it's all relevant.

I didn't choose to go for the £299 ticket but that was always an option,

Yep was doing it from memory on the prices - if there are several of you in different price ranges both the value gold and Superbia are not options.

So, setting aside that some just want old time pricing with all the glory of modern times - so lets be macho about the
Sheik putting his money in endlessly but don't expect me to put a bit in as well - some of the key points coming out of this thread seem to be that SCs are good value - so why not get on that list with the extra capacity becoming available and give some passion to the club

I'm Blue member or Cityzen due to work commitments - over the last couple of years have generally picked cup matches or PL games that are not shown live on TV which are usually Cat B or C priced.
That way I pay £20 to £35 for cup games and £35 to £45 for PL games and for 2 of us that's on average £100 per match with transport costs etc for an hour and a half of entertainment that you may or may not enjoy!
Exceptions being Barca, Rags, key games (which come with a price!) and Wembley.

Level 3 Blocks 301, 309, 322, 330 are all £530 for adult gold 2014/2015

I moved from L2 a few years back becasue it was cheap and I was skint at the time. Great view as well albeit I prefer L2. Funny thing is I wanted to relocate back to L2 this year because my money situation is better. Of course, nothing available.

Who is talking about "old time pricing"? It's telling that when you don't have a strong argument you feel the need to misrepresent the other point of view.

Just not being ripped off is ok for me. As for not putting in a bit, City supporters have put in plenty to the club over the years, if not for our traditional core support the club wouldnt exist. So forgive me if I treat the "don't expect me to put in a bit" with the disdain it deserves.

When we first went there EL3 was a lot more expensive than any SS, there were only 2 prices really. Missed that they were now cheaper, I wouldn't want to be that high myself.

Who can blame Clubs though when we the supporters put up with the pricing?

I don't agree with shirt pricing... I haven't bought one for a number of years.

But there are countless amounts of people who have bought these shirts, easily replacing me.

When it gets to a point of being too expensive, I will be cancelling my season ticket.

Will I be replaced?

Yes by someone who can afford it,probably lives outside of Manchester and never went to maine road etc etc....

Same as what happened at the swamp - something we have took the piss out of for many years.

The connection to the club will be lost, and the hardcore fans will be lost forever.

Could all change if Safe standing was introduced and reasonable pricing was introduced... but do these clubs want that?

No, they want the tourist over here, paying through their noses for the ticket and the merchandise.
