Well I didn't try to say that Poznan has bad fans. I just didn't understand what was so special with their fire show or the other stuff when we did the same thing but so much more impressive. But that's just my opinion, we don't have to agree and everyone don't like the same.

But as you said it's different style too.

About the flags. Each flag is from a different fan club and has a different story behind it. So it's not just anyone that brings them to the stadium.

And of course the type of songs are totally different. The Aris songs are more like real songs with a rythm and instruments and all. The Poznan songs are not quite like that. Polish ultras are more northern european style and Aris southern european/latin style if I can put it that way.

Anyway.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. I think it's cool that you guys pick something from each team to make your own atmosphere better. You picked the jumping backwards thing from Poznan and now that chant from us.

Hope to see you in the Champions League next time :D

Can`t agree more.
And thats why comparisons are pointless in that case.
Two different styles and it`s up to everyone "taste" to like one style more than another.

I get to Greece a lot and now hope I get the chance to visit my friend Panos in Thessaloniki who is an Aris fan so he can take me to an Aris home game sometime.

Very nice to hear! I hope you can visit our stadium sometime and experience one of our home games. Try to pick a game against a rival or a European game, those games are always special.

Should have a competition like Arsenal do at the emirates. Bring them and Poznan back, City, Poznan and someone else. The ground would be rocking.
 
I've been humming one of their chants all bloody day.

And I also had "Why Don't You Get a Job" on in the car today. They only did one rendition of that particular tune but that had me singing the original for a while during the match. I even added the "WELL I GUESS IT AIN'T EASY DOING NOTHING AT AAAAAAALLLL, OH YEEEAH." to the probable dismay of everyone nearby. *Cough*

A hugh congratulations to all Aris fans brilliant support, no need to say anymore just wish we could have a tournament with you and Lech Poznan at COMs that would be unbelievable for atmosphere.
