with everyone going on about our 'poor' atmosphere why dont all of us who want to sing get our tickets for the kiev game? say from 111 to wherever? would be good if someone could start a thread

correct & the people who complain that we dont do it ask youself this, if some bloke gets on the track next home game & tells you when to sing & when to clap you`re going to do exactly as you`re told arent you ? you know youre fucking not. Its regimented ,scripted & pathetic imo.

Watched the Aris fans tonight they were orchestrated by a handfull of guys who were bare chested.
Stand up sit down turn round left leg in right leg out shout clap all on cue and thought it all quite sad.
Noisy yes but that too fell into the "be manipulated" mode to boot.
We are as a fan base the exact opposite
Motivated by passion without external control and an inherant sense of humour,unpredictable and alive in the sense that we individually react to circumstances in a match, we are not told what to do or how to act its a natural reaction from us and not contrived.
So if you enjoyed thier match day "reportiore" try and read George Orwell 1984 and work out if you wish to be instructed on how to act at a football match or life in general

Just to really agree with some Blues on here - I thought they were the loudest fans ever to come to COMS - fuckin' awesome support, with the game virtually over early doors, I was just watching the guy with the ponytail down the front orchestrating the chants.

Great to know the lyrics and the meaning of the flags etc - genuinely heartwarming stuff and if we can't get inspired by Lech and Aris fans, well we never will.

Hello guys. I am a Greek City fan. A few days ago at the first match in Salonika, it was the first time i've been with the city fans and i'm looking forward to coming to Manchester for a home game.
As i have access to the greek media, i want to inform you about few things.
Today, there is a newspaper which whole frontpage refers to yesterdays game and doesn't even mention the game score. Or the scorer. Nothing. I am serious about that. All that matters is the Aris' fans. We are talking about a football match. Am i wrong? No mention to the hospitality or the football team. No mention to the club and its history before the tie only to the new wealthy owners.
Aris was the outsider and there was no chance of getting through, so the only way someone would remember Aris in three or four years, is them coming in thousands and screaming for 90 min. In the pitch, they hardly made a goal chance in 180 minutes.
My opinion, Aris is a mediocre Greek club with typical greek fans. Passionate and loud. They came to Manchester just to advertise themselves as their football team sucks.
All we need is to get stronger and we' ll have the chance through regular european football to see much more bigger clubs, in and out the pitch. Aris will
be forgotten soon as he didn't play any real football...

The video I got of them last night. 2/3 miniclips all strung together! They were crazy loud and not a spot of trouble. That I saw anyway.
