Arsehole neighbour parking on my driveway

I live in a semi detached house and to gain access to his house my neighbour has always insisted on driving down MY driveway.

Lately the wanker has had a horrible skriking little kid. It makes a right noise and keeps me and the mrs awake all night. Not only that but the prick has started parking right at the front of MY DRIVEWAY making it difficult for me to get my car out every bloody day. He gave some shite about wanting to get his kid into the car and it being near a brick wall.

In the end I flipped and told the fanny it’s my driveway. End of.

He said he’s going to build a fence - good look getting planning permission for that you nonce.

Next time I see him I’m going to brick his windows.

Why would you have to wait to see him to brick his windows? Does he carry them around with him?

you're neighbour isn't a short arsed bald Russian twat called Vladimir is it?

If there's a dropped kerb at the entrance to your driveway it's illegal to park in such a way as to prevent you from accessing a public highway. There's a statutory £70 fine for each offence. If he does it again report the ****. He'll soon get tired of coughing up £70 a time.

Bizarrely though it's not an offence to block you from entering your driveway but don't tell him that. Let us know how you get on.

If the house has been there 20 years, you may have the right in law to freely pass over that land to the public highway. If so, you could get an American Cyanamid injunction preventing him blocking your driveway, breach of which would be a contempt of court, and most likely a short prison sentence.

Thinking it through, there must be some common law right to pass over a pavement to a public highway from your dwelling. Or maybe something in statute under one of the Highways Acts. There’s got to be.

People must have a right in law to freely leave their own homes.

Takes too long. Bricks and petrol bombs are cheaper too.
