Kroenke has launched a bid to buy out Usmanov's holding and the handful of other shares he doesn't own. The Tarquins aren't happy, particularly as he's borrowing £557m to do it (although he says the debt won't be against the club).
Bizarrely, this could be good news for Everton, where Usmanov is also involved. Leaves him free to focus on them now.

Agreed.
Hard to use metrics, since all teams use their 6 very differently, but here I compare Xhaka with some other PL 6:es.
Metric wise, he seems like an upgrade on Arteta, I just think that Arteta controlled the tempo and dictated the play more.

Yep. I said on here a year or more ago that if Usmanov was going to continue to be blocked from having any influence at Arsenal then I could see him selling up and joining his mate Moshiri at Everton. It seems he gave it one last shot a few months ago and offered to buy Kroenke’s holding but was turned down.
An utterly shit day if you’re an Arsenal fan. No doubt that lunatic Tony Attwood will try to spin it as a positive though.
