One thing that has annoyed me greatly this year is how we drop off and allow opponents to get shots & crosses off. It's abysmal

We did the Rodri one to death.

We did the injures to death.

We did the won 4 titles to death.

On and on it goes.

No excuse for how we played that second half. A total collapse which we have witness far too many times this season.

I don’t accept the current attitude.

Some teams are better than us. I’m ok with that, ok with getting beat but not with the lack of effort.

Reputations are being tarnished.

Time to play the new guys and maybe try an academy player in midfield if we don’t buy anyone.

It’s only my opinion. My head isn’t lost, upset sure but not lost.

Gabriel is a horrible twat, it's very hard to like this arsenal even they new academy kid taking the piss out of Haaland when he scored. They is nothing to like about the club or players or fans !.
Arsenal seem to have the knack getting deflected goals and goals gifted to them against us.

A very telling moment was when Gabriel was on the floor tugging at Haaland's shorts and telling him to get his boots, Haaland actually extended his hand and offered to lift him back up, which Gabriel shrugged off... Haaland will already be looking forward to their next game.

The 'stay humble' comment rattled their entire club, and they reacted by being totally classless and undignified, en route to winning absolutely nothing. Fuck em.

Teams all over Europe in every division have been recruiting players and learning how to play against peps style...

They've caught up.
It was never going to last forever.

Injuries are a bollox excuse.
Player recruitment is a bollox excuse...

It's all down to tactics and how we are being drilled to play.

I’ll go slightly against that with the way we play now even last season,we have changed from originally how pep had his teams play remember the 5 second pressing rule,we don’t have the players to do that now obviously but it has changed over the last couple of seasons to a different type of possession game ..

I think a few players have been told they're going at the end of the season and this has caused some unrest in the camp. Too many not putting 100% in anymore, that's my view fwiw

Looking at them i think instead of not putting in 100% it’s more their confidence in their own selves is shot and same for the system they are playing.
They look devoid of ideas.They know it but I don’t see that as giving up.

Hes been stewing on it for months i cannot understand why Arteta didnt have a word with him to not be so fired up but there lies the problem when the manager is an even bigger bellend :(

I do get the emotional managers out there and it has worked for them Klopp being one of them but has it really helped Arsenal ...........maybe of they didnt use shithouse tactics or not get all over emotional they may win things.

Tonight is a prime example going over the top with celebrations when the gap is still so big ..........still they never learn and yet again they will finish 2nd win fook alland there fanbase can look forward to the Man City cup next season

The thing isn't about quality we know how much quality each player has as we've been watching them in this system the last 4 seasons and it's been brilliant.

The current crop do not have the legs to play his way. We can all see that surely. Some don't even have the technical ability to play his way.

So let's dial it back. Try not to be smart with anything. Shore up our leaky defence and when teams lose it in our half we go at them with directness and pace. With haaland up top and being fed that ball over the top, in behind we will score. My tactic has less emphasis on the control possession, more play to the players strengths we currently have. If in the summer we break the bank for some highly technical players in the ilk of musiala, wirtz, or whoever then we go back to his ways.

But it's clear that the current system isn't fit for the squad of players we currently have. Nunes has had the season of bedding in, and he's no further forward and is being played at right back now. Trying to do a Delph on him. But frankly it's not working. Lewis, may come across as a tidy footballer, but apart from that what does he bring. He dosent whip a cross in at pace, isn't strong defensively. He's only playing because he can move inside and fit his system. Apart from that offers very little. Which is a shame as I wanted him to do well.

We've seen from the dippers and the arse they've given their youth players a chance and they've grabbed their chance by the bollocks. Why haven't we done the same with mcatee, o'reilly, etc in our current situation they can't do any worse can they...

Even though you somewhat agreed with the analysis of my statement I don't agree with giving the youth a chance os the way forward. The sad reality is that the youth players we have now are not up to scratch. And even if Pep played all of them people would still criticise him.

So Pep can't win no matter what

Defence is beyond redemption. Some execrable individual displays - Ortega, Savinho. Build-up is so slow it’s a joke.
While TV were focusing on Haaland’s lack of involvement, a City player was standing on the ball, immobile,on the edge of our box.

Agreed. We have bigger fish to fry anyway this season. We weren't going to win the league before and we aren't now. Nothing's changed much. Let's focus on that which we can still win.
