Arsenal away pre match thread

If we are to get something then it's up to the manager to set the team up right and for them to fight a helluva lot harder than we've seen them fight for some time.

Play like we played against Stoke or The Dippers them we will get stuffed. Play like we did for a lot of the second half against BMG and we are in with a shout.

I will join you in the cupboard - if you agree - Not confident at all. I'll get the missus to bring us a cuppa at h/t.
Anyone else want to join us in the cupboard on Monday night?
We can all do the "pretending not to be bothered about the result of the City game" rap.
Female forum members welcome.

We can't afford to lose this. I think Arsenal will win the title if they beat us.

We can afford to lose and still win the title, loads of the season left, still near the top and the Arse still have to come in the Etihad (think I should reword that last bit)

OK kaz, "Gentlemen" only will be allowed in.
We could create a "virtual cupboard" in the form of a thread in which posters agree to discuss anything bar the game?
Mods will have to do early vetting of spoilers.

This going to be a big cupboard - OK Rummy I will bring your Yorkshire and my jar of Bovril. That will take me back to Maine Road - Bovril at h/t - yippee.
My last connection with a Rummy was an animal that won me a fair bet in the 70's.- unfortunately he was a Red - Grand National - was it 1977 ?.

The real City haven't stood up in the league since Bournemouth. Time to return to the plate Blues.
Start the game with a 2 in midfield one of whom is YaYa and we're toast. 3 in midfield to start please Pellers.

There's a lot of fucking Jessies in this thread. Of course there is a chance that we lose away against a good team but if we turn up and actually play as we can, we can take these Tarquins - who BTW have played much better away than at home these past few weeks. They barely got over Sunderland last time out FFS.

We can absolutely take them. And if not, a draw is very likely. If we lose, it's still only December.

I would like a statement of intent however as others have said. Especially in the wake of whatever transpires from Munich tomorrow.

I think I read on here earlier today that we haven't scored away in the league since September so really we should get beat up at Arsenal. However football is a funny game. This little break may have done us good and allowed us some time to rest and regroup.

I'll take a point. I'm sure at some point we'll get Kompany back, and Aguero fit and we'll start to move up the gears
