Arsenal fans celebrations.....

this sounds just like the thread when chelsea did the same thing. I'm not an Arsenal fan but prefer them to chelsea and the spuds. went to Highbury in my youth and watched them against Southampton, one of the most boring games I've ever experienced, and stood in the north end too. Beautiful old stadium and dead as hell. If they can celebrate like that maybe there's hope for them and yes they do realise that city are on the rise.

The results?

Their league has the highest average gates in Europe. Ticket prices are affordable. They have terraces filled with the type of young fans we have priced out. Their clubs live within their means and are not dragged down by excessive debt. The atmosphere still resembles a football atmosphere. Their clubs produce more talent than ours. Certain clubs (Bayern) are more successful than others, but its a far more open and interesting league than ours.

and a lack of success in Europe. A country with eighty million people has six European Cup/Champions League wins with Bayern having four of those wins. This versus three countries of sixty million people with the following:

Spain, 13
Italy, 12
England, 11

Also, the Netherlands, a country of seventeen million people have six as well and Portugal with ten million people have four.

True, but their game is healthier than the one in Spain,Italy or England and they care about stuff we all seem to have forgotten about like the future of the game, welfare of the fans and healthy clubs. Historically they also have better national sides.

I also reckon their clubs will become more dominant once FFP kicks in. The Germans play it by the book. You also can't see Spanish clubs getting the type of government funding they have previously relied on now the Germans basically control their economy.

10 of the 13 Spanish wins were by Real Madrid and the bulk of those were under the virtual stewardship of General Franco. Nice, I bet they are dead proud of that.

Another fact that you've totally fucked up on.

With all fairness it was a great result for them with teams dropping points around them it's a normal reaction, but we should be taking it as a compliment anyway. As for Gooners on here getting upset about being called 'classless' what do you expect the way you act when players leave your club really? you seem to want them hung drawn and quartered for wanting to move on like Nasri being the latest target, might not be the individuals on here but what are you expecting on our forum? As for us spending which you seem to have a problem with i've watched us on the brink of meltdown in the bottom division struggling to keep the club running so honestly i really could not give a flying fuck if we're buying your players or anyone elses! i've got nothing against you apart from the former player hating and anti-spending thing you seem to have i wish you the best of luck!
P.S - I still hope we sign RVP though! ;)

Last season they did the same. Smile, it's a compliment. And they are just annoyed they don't have the ability to challenge for the title and keep their best players, and they thought that preventing us from winning the title would be their greatest goal of the season.

I have no problem with fans celebrating winning a game. I do have a problem with corporate knobheads who have no understanding of what it means to support a football club, shouting United United as they walk through obviously gutted real fans.

I have never been as tempted to resort to violence after a game as I was leaving that place. Plastic twats!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say that European club trophies are a good sign of how well a countries football is. Let's face it, it's normally the countries where teams spend more money on foreign players that do well (especially in the last 25 years). A better sign would be how that countries national team does, as that will show how they are building their own players, and their own youth system. By that measure I'd say the Germans weren't that bad!

Keep pissing myself laughing at that guy in the bottom left corner with the teeth

Ray Parlour`s son getting involved also.

The steward at the front is a good mate of mine and I think his reaction sums the Gooners up. As you can see he's not remotely arsed about any of these dicks.
As he said after the game, not one of em has got balls big enough to actually get on the pitch to confront Ade, it was all for show.
Biggest bunch of pussies on the country!
