Really concerns me that any team who stands off us and man marks KDB completely nullified our build up. We were clueless how to get the ball out of our own half for a large part of that match. The build up is so slow and rotten it’s a wonder we are scoring as much as we are

That's why we need Alvarez floating around. Far too much distance between Haaland - Mahrez - Grealish in the first half. Alvarez knitted things together much better for us once he came on.

Alvarez and Walker were key to changing that performance in the 2nd half. The energy and directness of Alvarez especially.

Kev looks miles off the pace, gundo too. We struggled to push forward with any purpose when they were both on the pitch & looked better when just gundo was left on. Hope Kev gets back at it asap.

Ake outstanding again. Grealish getting better each game just needs to release the ball one touch earlier or start to take shots more regularly.

Thought Ortega was very good goalkeeping wise, kicking isn’t a patch on eddies but shot stopping is far superior.

I agree I think Ortega is more reliable than Eddie right now. Not sure Eddie would have kept a clean sheet there.
