Arsenal (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

All their defenders who started and White are fucking quality. That's why it's so hard to break down when they play like they did on Sunday. They'll have to shit out a hell of a lot of 1-0's though as they look to have the creativity of a robot vacuum cleaner without Odegaard
Odegaard is class. Saliba will be be at Real first chance he gets. The new Italian import is unlikely to hit one like his goal on Sunday again & Savinho had him on toast so I’ll reserve judgement. I draw the line at that weird orange twat I personally wouldn’t have him anywhere near our club

Not sure I'm a fan of him talking to Arteta like that. No need for it. Don't mind the stuff with Gabriel, Partey and Jesus, but not the opposition manager.

Mind you, the fucking game at the Emirates, if we're still within touching distance of each other will be a fucking game to watch. My life the tackles will be flying in and Haaland is going to get dogs abuse from their fans.

Fun times ahead.
Remember when Arteta took the ball from debruyne a couple of seasons ago
Reya hold on to the ball for twenty seconds a time. Remember Eddie getting a yellow for holding on to the ball for about ten seconds a year or two ago.
That was last season

The problem with Arteta is that he involves himself too much, he's that much of a twat he deserves little to no respect from the opposing players.

They do it all the time. Happened against Spurs and instead of calling them on it, that gobshite Neville called the keeper on it the week before - saying he needed to come for the ball. I said on the thread that the keeper couldn't come for it due to the Arsenal player's in his way. They're very good at it and I'm surprised other teams don't do it. It's not particularly clever, they have just decided to do it and no one has copied it yet. Once a couple more teams do it then the refs will stop it.
I think we should do it to them and see what the ref does

Be a good way to give Haaland an effective way to contribute at corners just have him stand on the goal line in the middle of the nets not only to impede the goalie but will fuck up opposing teams plans on how to mark him

City will love the game at the Dubai Airways Middle East Stadium.

We have experience and history....and no fear.

We'll pass and move keeping possession tiring their bodies and scrambling their heads.

We have more open play goal scorers to 'sniper' them.....2-0 to the 4 (5) on the bounce CHAMPIONS.

Manchester thanks you Sheikh Mansour

DELICIOUS !!

This is what makes me laugh, haaland is a machine when hes chilled out why would you want to piss him off. Has the terminator taught us nothing about pissed off machines.

View attachment 132842so there was 9 minutes wasted on goal kicks alone according to that. there was 13 minutes of injury time total over the two halves, rodri alone spent over 6 minutes down injured, they had at least half a dozen "injuries" from them, some genuine ones from us, add in goals, var checks, subs, set pieces, throw ins etc and we can estimate the ref miscalculated added time by at least 15 minutes. Why has there been so little made of the lack of substantial injury time?

Watching City last night and when Watford pulled a goal back with a great strike, City didn't start time wasting.

Good game management or poor ?

I think it just shows that it's not in City's mind set to fake injuries and cheat. City's game management would be to keep the ball by passing
