Arsenal (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

Arsenal are fuming with Haaland, and it's 100% part of his plan. He went into that game to prove to them they can't push him over, he caned a few of them and its no different to some of the treatment he's had off them previously - all part of the game. I do think he went a bit over the top at the end when he was going after them after the whistle, the shit housery is part of the game and Arsenal are starting to use it more than most. Just remember it for next game and move on, now they are a bit more pumped up for the return but as a team we just need to use them being angry at Haaland to create space for others.

I have seen a few City fans though complain about how Arsenal played, how do you expect them to play? I thought in the first half we were battering them, Oliver changes the game with the Walker incident and that gets some wind in the sails for Arsenal. I thought the way we managed that was poor, firstly Doku marking Gabriel?! Then Walker giving it the big captain game and completely doing the opposite of what was needed to be done and giving Gabriel a clear run! I know everyone says its a clear second yellow for the Arsenal player but i feel like if Oliver hadn't made that shit decision against Walker earlier on, he doesn't send this guy off and just warns him (which i personally think is ok). But since he'd already fucked the game up, he felt something was needed. After that i don't think we can complain about how Arsenal went about it, they did their job and even the play acting is all part and parcel of it.

We didn't react well enough, fucking no point having our 3 CB's stood outside the D taking pot shots or trying through-balls? If we're gonna do that then keep Walker on as the lone guy to run back, put Dias and Akanji nearer to Haaland like we did with Stones and then there's a point in crossing the ball. Gundo, Foden, Bernardo and Kova should be the ones looking for spaces and through balls as well as shooting.

In the end i thought it was a fair result, i think if the Walker incident doesn't happen, even with Rodri coming off we were gonna get another. I think if they didn't get a sending off the game would have been "easier" for us in that there would be space to break them down, but once again we have shown the world how shit our officiating is.

Imagine if they actually set up to play football? we'd slaughter the. I suspect though that by the time we play them they would have lost a lot of points because they are over emotional cry babies and the best they will be is trying to stay in the top 4.

They actually think they were the better side for packing their own box and having 18% of the ball 2nd half and shithousing their way through the entire 45 minutes by rolling on the floor and time wasting at every single opportunity, utterly pathetic. Laughingly they claim the "We beat CIty Cup" for last year on twatter the utter melts.

We pissed on them 1st half an hour and they were shitting it. Calafiori will never score another goal like that as long as hes got a hole in his arse which gave them a foothold in the game including a helping hand from that dickhead Oliver.

Trossard is a knob for booting the ball away on a yellow card and lego head can whinge all he likes - its a 2nd yellow and a red, just suck it up you clowns. They roughed Haaland up at the Emirates last year and this time he was clearly having fucking none of it from Pinky and Perky and gave them a bit of their own medicine. Quelle surprise they didn't like it.

City's start was breathtaking and brought what looked a routine goal, but which was actually superbly crafted and brilliantly finished. This was all brought to a halt by the injury to Rodri and we had not reorganised when Oliver made a massive mistake in allowing them to take a free kick before Kyle was back in position, leaving the Arsenal lad unmarked as one of our CBs moved out to cover their winger. A very good finish, but referee ..... But then we paid for our naivete at corners: our big lads at the near post, two gooners standing on Eddie and Doku expected to cover Gabrielle. At first a narrow escape but disaster at the second go. Why didn't we have some big lads keeping the way open for Eddie? Why did Kyle not just block off the run from Gabrielle?

Trossard got his richly deserved red and this was at least a shock for a team which sees the first yellow as an opportunity for that player to offend and offend again in the belief that the ref will be reluctant to show a second yellow. It didn't get in the way of the time wasting: Arsenal took every advantage to waste time when the ball was out of play. It is to City's credit that the ball went out of play so few times, but Raya, for all his good saves, is a very good 'keeper but a damned disgrace. I do feel that we really missed KdB: hade he been able to play there would have been many more clever passes out wide, or to players in the box. There would have been more runs into the box and, of course, KdB is a much more frightening prospect on the edge of the box than Dias or Akanji.

Fuckin pot and kettle. Now I like Ian Wright but like all gooners they've gone full dipper and turned into these serious mardarses.

We've managed to turned all the entitled red cartel fans into big cry arses.
