cant blame Pep too much, he was not helped by management with the transfers. you dont sit back when rivals make great signings especially not when you win a treble and need to inject some new hunger into the squad.
Kovacic is ok as a squad player but aint gonna win us a game with his display ever. even worse if we compare to Gundo's masterclass.

Doku talented, but has not scored since October, and assists dried up too long ago for him. (Palmer pisses all over him stats wise, albeit in a much weaker team with less pressure)
Gvardiol is a top CB talent, still have no idea what is he doing so much on opposite half with the ball on the left. was a rare decent game from him today, well up until he joined in attacks as thats really not his cup of tea.
while Arteta went out and got in 3 players who all improved their first eleven big time (Raya, Havertz, Rice). probably 4 if Timber doesnt get a season ending injury early on, imo he is better than White.
