Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

I would argue he could easily be walking the catwalks of Milan and Paris if he wasn't walking through Premier League defences.

He is the archetypal model, in terms of height and features.

People like to criticise others to make themselves feel better about themselves.

The guy is 6ft 4in, cheeks you can cut ice on, built like a Greek God, his own hair and the best part of £40m in the bank.

He seems to be doing alright for 22.
Yeah, but he’s not as good as Darwin.

He’s on a billboard in St Anne’s Square advertising some ridiculously priced watch.
He looks cool as fcuk.

De Bruyne is peerless.
I watched this video of The King right before last night's match.
The King
Without getting too weird when you watch De Bruyne straight after Nijinsky it's a pretty existencial experience. The way KDB carries himself, his modesty, steely self confidence, not to mention his gestures, the way he glides around the pitch. The clip of Bell tuning Bobby Moore inside out, Bells goals and assists. It's the same person!!!
They are so similar it's not even worth looking for the differences. Watching KDB last night honestly there weretimes i couldnt tell if i was still watcng the documentary or the match. Got me quite emotional tbh.
Long live The King.

He's on the front of a recent GQ. That may be because he's a famous footballer but I don't recall Luke Chadwick being on there

anyone seen any TV numbers of audience watching the game? have a feeling it must have hit high numbers in US and other places
Manchester City’s 4-1 victory over Arsenal on Wednesday was the most-viewed Premier League game in France in over 12 years, according to L’Équipe.
Pep Guardiola’s side dismantled Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, registering a crucial win. Manchester City’s destiny is now in their own hands. They are just two points behind Arsenal but have two games in hand on their rival. The match, billed as a potential title decider, was broadcast on Canal Plus. An average of 804,000 viewers (42% of the audience share), with a peak of 1.1m viewers tuned in for the match at the Etihad Stadium.
That is the highest figure for a Premier League match, broadcast in France in over 12 years. The last match to attract such an audience? Arsenal’s game against Chelsea on 27th December 2010, which was broadcast on Canal Plus Sport and attracted an average of 911,000 viewers.
Since the beginning of this season, and until 2025, Canal Plus is the sole broadcaster of Premier League football in France after RMC Sport didn’t renew its deal last year.
