Cheers, great banner.
Partey got in between KDB & the ball & was kicked. It was the correct decision imho & I've no complaints.
I'd feel exactly the same if it were us in a similar situation.
I've watched it umpteen times. He goes "over the ball" and from one angle it looks like he catches Kev before he "plants his foot", on the other he gets his foot on the ground and Kev kicks him. It was still a "lunge" off the ground so no control. I doubt VAR would have overturned a penalty, but with VAR who knows?
Grealavaro.
Maggie McGarry's on Grant St.Which pub? The Golden Gate tap room?
Now that is fuckin' mint. I can't wait until we have some history
0That marauding run from Akanji from the back was pure class.
He nearly went box to box and scored from that.
Incredible.
BT commentators didn't even mention it. Ridiculous.
I agree, the foul was on Kevin.I thought the challenge on Haaland in the opening minutes in the opening minutes was very questionable....Partey(I think deliberately steps across him...no attempt at the ball whatsoever and clearly initiates the contact......for me that was a penalty but he gave a free kick to them
We'll have to agree to disagree. I'm with the ref & VAR on this one. Partey got their first, planted his foot which KDB clearly kicks. It's a KDB foul in my opinion, but it's immaterial now, as it was awarded as a foul to Arsenal & we still smacked em in spite of it.Partey takes Kev’s legs out. His leading foot ends up between Kev’s legs, the foot catches Kev’s plant ankle, and Partey’s body goes through Kev, sending him flying as Kev tries to avoid getting his ankle broken. He didn’t play the ball, he was cleaning out Kev.
It’s a foul by Partey anywhere else on the pitch and probably a yellow on top.
I think it's a clear pen. I thought so at the time. I appreciate the gaslighting going on though :-(.Partey takes Kev’s legs out.
