Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

Was lucky enough to be there last night with my Lad.

Got to say the atmosphere last night was something else.

The football wasn' half bad either.;-)

I can not think of any superlatives that will do KDB any justice,he was simply phenomenal. He oozes class. KDB and Haaland are forming a seriously formidable partnership.

I know Haaland has scored a shit load of goals.Last night he was showing he is also a very good team player, looking to make a killer pass and move and involve others.Very unselfish play.

Collectively we were very good,a performance worthy of reigning Champions.

Arsenal up starts were taken apart by the proven Masters.

Diaz Yellow card.I notice after watching Match Of The Day this afternoon. They didn't show him having the Foot put in to him first whilst he was on the floor.

Got a hangover from Hell.

Probably already mentioned, but just noticed the first goal against Bayern last week, and the first goal against Arsenal last night were almost identical.

All starting from Stones playing that long ball from the back to Haaland, Haaland holds up the defender and plays great ball to KDB. From there its open space for KDB to take on a shot, or find a teammate.

The Stones-Haaland-KDB connection has been lethal.

Partey takes Kev’s legs out. His leading foot ends up between Kev’s legs, the foot catches Kev’s plant ankle, and Partey’s body goes through Kev, sending him flying as Kev tries to avoid getting his ankle broken. He didn’t play the ball, he was cleaning out Kev.

It’s a foul by Partey anywhere else on the pitch and probably a yellow on top.

If that’s not a penalty then I’m not sure what is nowadays .
It’s also a straight red imo!

Still can't get over the win yesterday hahaha. KDB produced arguably the best performance in PL history. Haaland also very complete performance. Grealish cooked Ben White. Gundogan found space between the lines a lot and helped us progress the ball. Akanji kept Saka quiet surprisingly.

The thing which impressed me the most was how we controlled space off-the-ball. Martinelli was only limited to 11 touches and Saka did nothing of note. Best defensive performance of this season for me. I don't even remember Arsenal getting into zone 14 lol.

Pep changed the build-up from 3-2-4-1 to 4-2-4 in this game to have overload and it did wonders. This is the first time we played like this the entire year. Either we had a spare man in back 4 or KDB was free b/w the lines. Pep used De Zerbian principles of baiting the press to then create artificial transitions. We had KDB and Haaland - 2 of the best players EVER in transitions.

Remember when the rat at utd got a penalty for that kind of challenge?
Obviously, they are reffed differently, so fair do's.
