They’ve made sure most of their players have withdrawn from this round of internationals -( Gabriel; White; Martinelli & now Saka) whereas we, on the other hand, play by the book as usual & all our players turn up to play.
Knock knock
Saka-Come in, its open
Southgate- Hi Saks, can I have a word?
Saka-One minute Gaz, I've never got this far before.
Southgate-Gaffer, please
Saka-Sorry Gaz, I mean Gaf. Damn it, that level's tough. What is it Gaz, er Gaf
Southgate- A few players had commented that you've just being playing Xbox and not training. Is anything up?
Saka-Ha. That's what the gaffer told me to do.
Southgate-Sorry?
Saka-Er, I have a twinge
Southgate- Where
Saka- Everywhere
Southgate- OK, see you tomorrow
Saka- Doubt it.

Absolutely no chance Arsenal will come to our place and beat us.

I couldn't give a fuck if I sound arrogant either. There's only one outcome of this game on Sunday 31st and that's a convincing Manchester City win.

Arsenal are bottling twats not a set of bollocks between the cunts. The Etihad will be buzzing on matchday. I can't wait.

Think we'll win. Just gutted this wouldn't necessarily take us top. Hate the fact that Liverpool have to slip up somewhere in order for us to win!

I truly hope you are right mate but Arsenal are a fine side & have players that will cause us problems.
I do fancy us to win but i think it will be tight

Football doesn't work like that. If Wigan in the lower leagues can beat the Centurions, then anything can happen. To say there's absolutely no chance that they can beat us is plainly wrong.

You can always bet your house on a convincing City win. Have skin in the game.

I'm optimistic, but not unrealistic. Nothing is absolutely guaranteed in football, not even a win vs Palace, with a two-goal lead and 10 minutes to go...

Saka now out of the internationals. Hope we smash them even more now.

This will be a good test of us in big games late in the season. Last year we were incredible and looked unbeatable which had given me so much confidence. Let’s hope for that again.
I'm sure Mr Saka will have made a miraculous recovery by the time they come to the Etihad.

It's a big test for Arsenal to come to the Etihad and win and based on their performances in both games against Porto I'm not sure they're quite there yet.

I expect this to be quite a cagey game, as opposed to the Spurs and Chelsea games which were pretty open and I'd back City to win, but I think the scoreline will be much closer than last season.

Roberto Martinez: "Bernardo [Silva] and Ruben Dias are leaving. We have 8 arriving for the second game"

Roberto Martinez has confirmed Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva, along with 6 others, have now been sent home from international duty as he intends to use other players in the next game.

Matheus Nunes will remain with the squad for the next game.

More international managers should do this when just friendlies, critical point of domestic seasons.

Good chance for Nunes to get some game time and build on his performance the other night. Having said that it must be a bit of a blow to the self-esteem when the 'important' players are sent back to their clubs. Hopefully gives him some further motivation to end the season strongly!

Statement of intent time. Want the same as last year these fuckers blown away and humbled. Their ‘big’ players subbed off and Arteta looking like a slapped arse on sideline with his weird hair

Business as usual time.

Get 3 pts vs Arsenal, then 3 pts vs Villa and then 3 pts vs Palace.

We need wins, not big wins. It's better to win 1:0 in any of the 3 games than demolish Arsenal and Villa 5:0 and then draw at Palace.

This as long we get three points that's all the matter.

Think that’s obvious tbh but giving them a good hiding doesn’t preclude beating Villa and palace. Arsenal need putting in their box though, we haven’t given anyone a lesson really this year as we did last year. I’d like us to absolutely hammer the twats

Everyone's at it.

Big nose used to do it all the time with Rags players.

These are pointless friendlies, no point taking risks.
