Wednesday will be all about mentality and I just don’t think deep down they believe they can beat us.

Expecting monster performances from Rodri, Dias and Stones to provide the platform for the usual suspects to do what they do best.

Let’s strangle them from minute 1 to minute 95.
Arse get plenty of injury time when they are losing so might be minute 1 to minute 105

Either that or Zinchenko is a great bloke, good midfielder and bang average defender. It’s exactly why it was right to take a good offer for him; because arsenal have done so well, and because he is such a good character, people (including many on here) reinvented history and decided he was a great defender - he absolutely isn’t, that’s the point

The fact you’ve veered off from if he’s responsible for Arsenal’s conceding more without Salina into how we were right to sell him just confirms you’re not really talking about his performances for Arsenal objectively, you’re looking for confirmation we made the right decision.

Kick off time 20:00 (BST).

If you're going to the game let's give our players all the help they may need, we need make it hostile and pressure their players like we have done against Liverpool and Champions League sides. Any time-wasting from Ramsdale, faking injuries etc.. let it be known straight away.

Bus welcome at 18:30, let's get down there and support the lads.

The face of this game has changed a bit since Arsenal's mini meltdown. A win or draw keeps it in our hands.

Same team that started against Bayern but Laporte in for Ake if he's injured.
--------------Ederson
Stones---Akanji---Dias---Laporte
----------------Rodri
-------De Bruyne---Gundogan
Bernardo----Haaland-----Grealish

Only concern would be Laporte on Saka but I don't think they'll get the ball much.

Great to have Mahrez, Alvarez and Foden as bench options now.

Let's get this won and give ourselves a bit of space in the league.
I feel like everyone's missing the obvious fact that Stones played center back against Bayern in both legs. Akanji was a right back. Of course he moves to midfield when attacking, but in this thread everyone are putting Akanji as the centre back and stones as right back even though it is other way around.
For this game, I would be tempted to play Walker as the lb/lcb instead of Laporte. Of course that would hinder the build up play, but I just see Saka destroying Laporte defensively in one-on-ones. In my opinion the compromise of good build up for more solidity in defense would be worth it. I still expect our attackers to have a field day without laporte's passing.
