My worry for this game is that majority expect us to win easily.
Football does have a funny way of throwing up surprises.
Hope I'm wrong tomorrow night.

They are due a result against us, we win tomorrow and they can have a win next season to make up for it.
Nah, they can beat one of our lads in an eSport tournament to hold them over to when they beat us in a dead rubber May match in 2026.

Not sure that logic applies against a Pep team, especially not tomorrow.

I think the confidence is down to the way the two teams are playing.

Looking at us, we are in form and playing really well at the right time and us as fans know it.

Pep will have the players focused though, he knows the significance of this game and the players do too, we can't afford to drop points tomorrow if we want to win the league.

I am genuinely sorry to hear that. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I hope things improve for you and I am always here if chatting with someone that is also managing these challenges would be helpful.

I am currently neck deep in an illness robbing me of my ability to do much of anything unassisted, as well as struggling with severe depression. And coming to terms with that means for my nearly two year old son as I slowly wither away, perhaps to a point where he doesn’t remember me as anything more than a quiet but punishing burden.

David Sid Holmes struggled with that feeling and more whilst being a steadfast City support for 20 years. He had far less time than you and I, and I would wager a larger portion of it was far more difficult.

I understand your desire to have escape, but I do not understand how honouring his life for a moment at a football match (either during it or before/after for remembrance) would rob you of it.
Take care pal

I am confident, but that will probably sap as kick off approaches. We have been here before, we have beaten them plenty of times and that works both for us and against them. They're on a poor run since Saliba's injury and will be without him again.

They outplayed us possession wise at the Emirates but we countered effectively and punished their errors. But we are a different beast now. Key players rested at the weekend and ready to go. Full pelt from fans and players from the off and we can do them.

Their attack is excellent but errors have crept in defensively and Xhaka is a big miss for them if ill. Can't believe I am writing that, but he is crucial to their balance this season.

Not sure about easily, but on the evidence of their last 3 games their defence especially without Saliba is very porous. If we continue playing like we have done over the last few weeks then we can cause them a lot of problems.
