Look its going be great three horse race. We had tough away game and we were not good enough at back today to get a rersult. city deserved it. But titles are won over home and away games being consistent. We still top because we still the most consistent team. If we can beat chelsea we still be in very strong chance to go all the way and win the league.

I'm not sure any team has ever conceded 6 in one game and won the title in the same season

Manchester united lost 6-3 at southampton in the 96-97 season and went on to win the title, thats it , done deal, im off down the bookies tomorrow, clearly our year!!!.

City should be strolling it on talent, so much quality in that squad. But they also had the best squad last season and didnt win it so its not a foregone conclusion.

Didnt mean to have a dig, just saying the best team doesnt always win the league, so while on paper city should win the title, they could easily go away to a very weak team and drop points.

Not sure a team has lost 4 away from home and won the league before too but all these are minor stats, I am not saying we will win the league, just that we are hardly in crisis being in the position everyone wants to be in, and its very gratifying to see Man city fans being so pleased at being beneath us in the table, if we were both offered that before the season you would have been livid, Id have thought the world has gone mad.
No reflection on today's game you totally deserved it. Awesome at home, but it will be the away form that decides if city win it or not.

You mightn't be sure about that, but I'm quite certain someone won the title after losing five away games. Was only eighteen months ago, too. Selective memory or mind just a bit fucked after today's result?

I believe the five away defeats were against your lot, Chelsea, Sunderland, Everton, and Swansea.

We cant really moan about the ref (more the linesman than the ref). He made a few mistakes but nowhere near as many as our defenders.

Odd that you can remember that from 16 years back yet you couldn't remember a team winning the league having suffered four away defeats from just 18 months back;

Individual matches are easier to remember than numbers of league defeats, especially Man utd games as I used to watch every one, we had an 8 year title race with them when you were fighting relegation every season. that 6-3 game was when shmeichel got chipped brilliantly by le tissier . I grew up hating man utd so much that their defeats I remember as much as our victories.

you've had 6 games against big European clubs and top4 opposition this year. you managed a very lucky win in the westfalion stadium, beat napoli in your place, and.....
lost 2-0 in Naples, lost 1-0 in the swamp, lost 2-1 in your place to bvb and got schooled by Chelsea, where's this big game mentality you're on about cause I don't see it, add to that you're getting leggy and this is your second massive away game in 60 hours as your manager is busy telling the press (getting his excuses in early imo) and that a team that have a better defensive record than you when you exclude their game.v us conceded 6 here, if you win it will be a miracle.
oh and the biggest game in Europe is villa v the rags, they have 659 million fans ;)

Secondly we have shown by being top of league by five points and getting through the toughest champions league group how good we are. We shown with our wins in big matches over spurs, liverpool we can do it when it matters. In past we beaten you 1-0 at home in 2012 in a big match at home and beat chelsea 5-3 away in 2011. So that is not a issue.

I don,t think it be miracle if we win. we beaten bayern or dortmund when no one bar us fans gave us a chance. So of course we can win. Everytime the world wrote us off we come back fighting.

Arsenal were never, ever going to win the league. They should be looking to secure a top 4 place because it's going to be really, really tough this year. They've had a good spell and should finish third if they don't lose too many players to injury but their fans are deluded if they think they can stay with City and Chelsea.
