arsenal fans refusing to admit they were beaten fair and square mostly.

I've not read through it all mate, so don't know what's happened.

If that's the case, they are mental, because it was 6-3 going on 10-5!
good man. we'll put you in the 'nice gooners' category, how do you think you're set for the chelski game?

:-)

Worried about the Chelsea game I must say mate. Not because I think they are a better team than us, but purely because I think they can win the bigger games better than us, and Mourinho seems to have some sort of hoodoo over us.

If we can play our normal natural attacking game, I think we are the better team considering their form. However, I'm not sure we've got the confidence and the swagger to play like that in these big games, Old Trafford being a great case in point!

Fucking hell, look at Frimpongs house. What a fucking bell end.

yeah the difference being that the company that is giving us all that money for sponsorship (puma) doesn't just happen to be owned by stan kroenke's brother! (or bother in law, either way its a close family relation which clearly makes the whole deal very suspicious).

also, without wanting to get into a argument about which club is bigger, its completely understandable for a brand the size of arsenal getting this kind of sponsorship deal, whereas as city 2 years ago (i think it was?) getting a deal like that was totally out of proportion for a club of city's size back then.

come on, you'd have to be really blue tinted to not see the obvious possibility of a very simple scam - "here you go brother, take this £200m and use it to sponsor our club with your etihad company, it will count as a revenue stream and there's absolutely no way for anyone to prove otherwise"

I love that the majority of Arsenal fans think we were the equivalent of Macclesfield Town (no offence to Macc) before Sheikh Mansour came along.

no arsenal supporters i know think that you were some tiny club before your takeover.

but neither were you anywhere near big enough to bag one of the biggest (if not the biggest) sponsorship deal in the premier league and Europe were you? thats why there was so much suspicion around the sponsorship, once it turned out the sponsor was directly related to the city owner.

like i said in previous post, theres no way even any city fan can deny the obvious with that one...

The problem with you is you don't know the FACTS

HOW MUCH WAS IT FOR?

WAS IT FOR THE STADIUM RIGHTS?

Indeed. It's what he is the master at. Chelsea are a strange team. On the one hand they've probably had the toughest fixture list out of all the top teams so far in the case of playing a lot of the top 8 teams away from home so far, and they only sit 2 points off the top. Let in their last 12 games in all competitions, they've played a lot of 'lesser' teams, lost 4 games I think out of those 12, and really struggled in the games they have won against the likes of Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Bucharest etc. I don't know what to make of this Chelsea team at all, and not sure even what their own fans think of it.

I know football is much more complicated than doing a player for player analysis, but if this years league winners are going to come from the team with the best individuals then City should win the league hands down in my opinion.
I'd take Zabaleta and Kompany over any of their peers in the league, likewise with Yaya, Silva is one of the best if not thee best playmaker, and Aguero is only rivalled by Suarez this season, with Negredo not far behind. Add to that players like Navas and with Nasri coming back to form I think maybe only 2 or 3 Chelsea players would make a joint team!
