Couple of seasons ago I may have said a good signing for them but they play with more pace these days which makes me think he wouldn't suit their game.
Maybe they are just trying to get in the best cheap non-CL cup-tied player available?

Not a problem, because they can play Podoloski and Walcott either side. Would be a very good signing for them.
