Their all time average attendance is below spurs, so the arseholes fan talks out of his arsenal. They bribed their way into the league at the expense of spurs and bought the best players in the 30's. They done the same when Wenger arrived, spending near 60m quid to compete with United.

All this bollocks doing things the right way, they were spending double on wages for a decade than any chasing pack and poaching kids from abroad, paying them higher wages than barca and ajax.

All the bollocks about playing the right way by modern day fans is bollocks too. They used to play the most boring football going sitting on 1-0's. If you think jose's teams are kings of killing games, graham's arsenal blew that out the window
 
They were one of the five clubs that threatened to break away from the Football League if they couldn't keep all their home gate receipts instead of giving 20% to the visiting club.

They were one of the two clubs who led the break away from the Football League to form the Premier League so they didn't have to share TV money with the lower league clubs.

They were part of the G14 who threatened to set up a European Super League outside UEFA's control if they didn't get more money from the Champions League and they didn't get paid for their players who were on international duty.

Doing things the right way? Don't make me laugh.

I honestly hate them with a passion. Arsenal, United and Liverpool all bang on about class and history. It's just fuckin nonsense!!
Liverpool were fuck all until Shankly came along. did there history start then?
Let's have it right, United were made by Munich, again, did there history start in 1958?
And arsenal, did there history start in South London or North London. This whole 'istory thing baffles me.

I have always thought of Arsenal as a big money club. As you say, they were boring 1-0 merchants (but with some big name players) until Wenger came along and bought in plenty of new, top class talent.

Then they had to pay for the new stadium and couldn't spend on players. The propaganda button was hit and all the 'doing it the right way' bollocks came out. It probably wasn't helped by the timing of City being bought by an owner who was happy to invest - making Arsenal look bad if anybody was stupid enough to look at it that way - and this seemed to start a whole (hypocritical) 'buying the league' mantra. Now they have some money to spend again they have calmed down all the bullshit and are back to buying their league position like everybody else. But what I don't get is this - If they had simply said to their fans "we are going to be cash strapped for a while, but it'll be worth it in the end" wouldn't the fans have accepted it? I know they did make those noises, but they always sounded like they were blaming other clubs (mostly us) and apologising to the fans. Maybe if they had handled it better they would have kept some of their best players as well.
 
Still can't believe they got Ozil! Best playmaker in the world probably who is just 24! We should have been in for him. We seem to still not have a clue on how to break teams down.

Its one of the disadvantages of doing your business early in the transfer market.
We had already committed significant time and resources in bringing in Navas, Fernandinho, Jovetic n Negredo.

Wenger is the hypocrite,time after time slagging us off over spending,wages and sponsorship deals.. Fcuk you wenger and the rest of the cnuts....

The same Daily Mail article where the agent's fee came from also stated later on that the actual fee paid by Arsenal was £1.5 million.

Just for comparison, your transfers from the January and Summer transfer windows in 2012 saw a £10.5m spend on agent fees for the following players:

Jack Rodwell (£12m), Scott Sinclair (£8m), Maicon (undisclosed), Matija Nastasic (undisclosed), Javi Garcia (£16m), David Pizarro (loan), Richard Wright (free)
 
Arsenal look really tasty this season. Funny how the gooner fans were all calling for Wengers head after that Villa defeat

Ramsey really has improved.
Walcott will always get slagged off but always assisting or scoring. Class player
And Ozil is pure class.
Giroud needs to stay fit for the whole season if Arsenal are really gonna challenge.

Ridiculously dumb lol, Wenger's still a top class manager imo. As a coach I think he's probably the best in the league, his shortcoming is buying the right players in the transfer window but if they had a director of football who identified the right players then that problem would be solved.

Piers Morgan in particular always goes on about how Wenger should be sacked but I remember one time when asked who his replacements would be, he said Harry Redknapp or Martin O'Neill.

During this period a total of £77,003,130 was spent by the 20 Premier League clubs on agents.

The amounts shown include payments made by clubs on behalf of players and there were 806 transactions during the specified period, although not all of these will have attracted an agent's fee.

The Premier League agreed in June 2008 that from season 2009/10 onwards each club would publish, on 30 November each season, the total amount it paid to authorised agents during the period 1 October of the previous year to 30 September of that year (encompassing the two transfer windows).
